I subscribe to CZECH-L @rootsweb.com and some people on there asked for help finding origins of names. PETRAK was one of them and I rmember they said it came from the word Peter. That is all I know about the origin. If you want to know about any other names , you could subscribe to that list also and they will look them up for you.
