Trying to find parents of Wm. Begg, born Apr 5, 1803, in Scotland. OPR lists a christening for a Wm. Begg on Apr 17, 1803, to John Begg and wife, Jean Aiton, in the Low Church, Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. Any info or connections, anxious to hear.

William D. Begg was the son of John Begg and Jean Aiton. He emigrated to the US, married a widow with 5 children in Ohio, homesteaded in South Dakota and died in Seattle Washington. He was my great-great-grandmother's brother and I have much information on him and his family, including photographs and his homestead records. My great-grandfather wrote a book on his family and everything he knew about the Beggs is in it. It kicked off my research.
