Hello Jason.My name is Amanda Aiton.I am also 28 years old.I currently live in Blackpool,England.I was born in Glasgow,Scotland in 1976.It is nice to hear about other Aitons as we are a relitavely rare breed.

Nice to meet you Amanda. Its great to hear from an Aiton from the home country. Although I am always wanting to find family, its very difficult to remember all. My grandfather, John Aiton, lives in Toronto, was born in Glasgow (or surrounding area), Scotland between 1937-1941, not sure but easily found out. It is quite possible we are related...who knows!

I don't have very much information about my family unfortunately.My sister Wendy is also on Genes Reunited trying to find out a bit about the Aitons.
My dad was Alexander Aiton.He was born in Glasgow in 1950 or 1951(depending on how old he wanted to tell people he was-ha ha ha).
I will try to find out a bit more info.I work in a library, which has lots of family history material.

I'm another Aiton living in Torquay, Devon, UK,(you'll need an atlas jason!). My fathers family is from Edinburgh, and my grandfather was called Robert, he would of been born around 1910 ish.
