John Stevens born abt 1830, married Elizabeth Newman C.19 Sep 1830 in Kersey Suffolk on the 19 June 1850. in Hadleigh, Suffolk. They had 2 children, Elizabeth & John. John senior was charged & goaled for breaking & entering and eventually sent to Western Australia as a convict in 1857. There he later remarried and had a large family. Nothing was ever said of his first wife Elizabeth so she was not known of until researching his background. Would dearly like to find more information on Elizabeth and John for family history.
