I am looking for the parents of William Allen born c1799 at Clarborough, Retford, Nottinghamshire. In 1851 census he was living at Moorgate, Clarborough, Nottinghamshire, occ Lodging house keeper and he died before the 1861 census.

He married a Catherine Scoggins born 1815 at Clarborough, Nottinghamshire and had the following children

Mary born c1844 at Clarborough
Ann born c1847 at Clarborough
Fanny born c1850 at Clarborough
