One possibility for your Isaac is:

Isaac Allen b abt 1796 in Sumner, Tennessee, son of Theophilus Allen b 1762 in Charles, Maryland, d 11 Jan 1832 in Caney Creek, Ohio, Kentucky

and

Elizabeth Crawford b 1775 in Sumner, Tennessee, d 1805 in Ohio, Kentucky. They were married in 1790 in Sumner County Tennessee. Most of the descendants went to Ohio County Kentucky, but a few went to Illinois.

Searching on this Isaac Allen brings up census records for your Isaac Allen.

Looking for information on my great great grandparents of Hartford, CT - their names were Vincent (?) and Louise (?) Allen. They were born in Ireland and came to the US sometime in the late 1800's or early 1900's. They had 3 sons, Patrick, Frank/Francis and Arthur. Vincent and Louise were killed in a train wreck in Hartford in the early 1900's and the 3 boys went to the St. John's School for Boys orphanage in Deep River, CT. Patrick left the school first and was never heard from again. Frank and Arthur left around the same time. Frank moved to Deep River, CT for a short time and then Rhode Island. Arthur lived in Essex, CT and then lived in Massachusetts and New York. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have Jonas and Lucinda Allen's son Willard b 4 Sept 1800 in Waterford Twp, Caledonia VT. He m Eliza Payne b 4 Dec 1806 and had 5 children. They were Rosalia, Sophrenia, Elizabeth, Alonzo and Lucian Waite. Lucian was b 21 Mar 1831 Buffalo NY and on 1 Jan 1861 Spring Valley, Fillmore, Minnesota m Rhoda Ann Conklin b 24 Oct 1842. I also have two more gen from Lucian if anyone is interested. I'd appreciate any additional info. Thanks!

Rev. Jonas Allen (b. March 22, 1776, d. September 29,1862) married Lucinda Waite (b. July 4, 1782, don't know death date) on November 23, 1800 in Royalston, Massachusetts. They had three children that I am aware of: Willard, Stillman (b. August 23, 1802, d. March 3, 1893) and Lucinda (b. December 3, 1804, d. don't know). Please let me know if you have more info. rev Allen was born in 1778 in Royalston Mass and married Lucinda Waite in 1864. He died in 1864. Unsure if they had any children. Trying to find out what happened to the family tree after that. I know there is a great, great, great Aunt named Libby Allen possibiliy in Minnesota in 1888. Thanks for any info

Hi! One of my Great x4 Grandmothers, Olive (St John) Aiken Tone, married a Zimri Allen in abt 1859. It was the 3rd marriage for both. I'm trying to track Zimri's ancestors, and also see if there is a connection to Ethan Allen's family, since he had a brother Zimri & it's not a very common name. I do note that in the 1840 census, a vetern named Gideon Allen, age 93, is living with Zimri ... is probably his father ...

Who are the parents of this Isaac Allen? He lived in Red Bud, Randolph, Illinois which county borders St Clair. Isaac Allen and Elizabeth Free Allen had these children. I have something on all of them but would like more. Plus I will be glad to share.

Perkins Allen b 1830 md Nancy Irwin 2 Feb 1854 St Clair Co IL. He md 2nd Catherine C Lively 20 Jan 1859 St Clair Co IL.

I unfortunately do not have information on Frank Allen, but I have an interesting coincidence to share with you. You have Hannah Blacklock who married James Allan on your family tree. They have a son, Daniel Davidson Allan who marries a Hazel Turner.
My Great Grandmother was Ellen Blacklock from Canada (I believe Hannah might be her sister. (Do not know for sure)
Anyway, Ellen married Daniel Davidson (whom I believe Daniel Davidson Allan might be named after)after her cousin Agnes Blacklock died.
If you have any information on this or could give a little more information on James, Hannah and son Daniel, much appreciated.

My grandmother, her name was Alice, had sisters named Gertrude, Shirley, Peggy. Her brothers names were Jim and Clayton. If she had any other siblings I do not know them. Her father's name was Grant. I believe she lived in Addison, Vermont until she married, then moved toward Chittenden, Vermint.I am just starting to look into the family tree.

I haven't gotten past the Carrollco., Va.Allens.
I'm still trying to piece togeather the connetion my self.
I know i'm kin through my g grandmother, my grandmother, my mother . my g grandmother is deceased , and my grandmoyher don' t remember anymore or she will not give me the infromation . I'm sorry i'm not much help to you .

Hi there! I am trying to establish a family connection to Ethan Allen and wonder if you can help? I have a Lovica C. Allen born in May of 1832 in Vermont-married John Brainard Moulton. Lovica (according to my great-grandmother, now deceased) was born in her "uncle Ethan's" cabin. The age span is too great for Ethan Allen to truly be her uncle, but perhaps a great-uncle or some othe relation???

My Great Grandmother was Agnes Allen, a direct descendant of Ethan Allen. She was married to a man by the name of Peace. I was told they settled in the Hamilton,Ontario,Canada. I to am kin to Ethan Allen but through my great grandmother , grandmother, mother . Ethan Allen is also related to the Allen's of Hillsville, Va. , and that was involved with the Courthouse Tragedy.

According to family tradition, my adoptive sister is a direct descendant of Ethan Allen. I'm trying to help her connect him to a John Allen, born May 15, c. 1910, died Sept 17 1990 whose mother was Gertrude Truax. They are all from Vermont. I know this is a huge inquiry without much information, but I'm swamped in my own ancestry work and just want to give her a good jump-start. I'm researching my third great Grandfather and I've hit a bit of a wall. (Especially with all the other Archibalds in these forums) Here is what I know/believe to be true:

Archibald Allen born 1810 in Tennessee, married to Nancy Ford born 1797 in Tennessee. Parents of William Allen born 04 Jan 1833- 25 Jul 1909, husband of Catherine Henderson.

I've located Archibald in the 1850 & 1860 census, but can find nothing further back. Any assistance on Archi or the Fords is greatly appreciated!
