      <description>Aloha,&lt;br&gt;Siaosi Fanene Ama is my grandfather. My father is Henry Scanlan(Ama)and he was hanai from Latafale and Enele Scanlan. They moved to the states and resided in California. Latafale and Siaosi are brother sister. I new Latafale as my grandmother and was named after her. However, Siaosi was my father, Henry Scanlan, birth father. If you have any info for me please contact me. I am going back to my roots and wanting to know where I come from and where my family originated from.&lt;br&gt;Mahalo Nui</description>

      <description>I am also looking for the Ama family in Samoa.  My father-in-law's American name is Henry Scanlan his Samoan name is Enele Scanlan.  He was raised by Latafale and Enele Scanlan.  His birth father is Siaosi Ama.  As far as we know his birth mother is from Tonga.  I am insterested in any information on her.  I also would like to know more about our family in Samoa. My Great Auntie and her brother (my grandfather) have Fanene as their middle name: Latafale Fanene Ama and Siaosi Fanene Ama.       <description>Hello, I am trying to get to know my Mom's family. Her name is Lisi Ama-Te'o. My grandfather was the late Alotoa whom I only got to see 4 times in my lifetime. She has so many siblings of whom I have never met...but would love to meet and get to know them. I have 4 children and I would love my children to get to know ALL their relatives. My biological grandfather's name is Siaosi Fanene Ama who was the brother of my Father's aunty Latafale Ama. She married Enele Scanlan. They were my hanai(adopted)grandparents.
