I have no idea if this is relevant, but there was a wonderful story of my grandmother, Lillian Anders, seeing her brother after 30 years apart. She said, "Don't you know me Bud?" Probably lots of Bud Anders but maybe? I thought my folks took her to see him in South Dakota, but they did mention coming home from Iowa, so????

You might want to look into her Father being Lewis Jasper Anders. He was married 3 times and had MANY children. Several which are named Elizabeth Anders.

This Nancy Elizabeth Anders was born 1872 and died 1970,she was 98 when she died. She was married to William Marion Jones they lived in Grand Saline, Van Zant County, Texas. (My great grandmother and grandmother were both born there.)
Her brothers were Howard, Fred, Richard, L.V., sisters were Katie, Eula, Ester, and Dollie.

Not sure if this is the correct Nancy elizabeth. I have her birth date is 1843 in LA and she died in 1880 in Van zandt Country. I think her parents were Taylor and Eliot Anders. There is a lot of info about Taylor, but I have it a dead in with Eliot. Eliot was my G-G-Grandfather's sister. Her maiden name was Roberson. There are a lot of Anders buried in the Creageville Cemetery. Do you know who Nancy married?

I'm looking for the father and mother of Nancy Elizabeth Anders, my great great grandmother. She was born in,1873,in Louisanna but then as a child they moved to VanZandt Co,Tx.
Her brothers were Fred, Howard, Richard and possibly more. I don't know if there is some connection here but we both hve relatives that ended up in Texas.

died Friday, November 11, 2011 at the home of his daughter in Girard He had a love and passion for life which was reflected in the manner he faced his illness without complaint. He taught his family about courage and strength by his love of life and his will to live. Born March 11, 1927 in Shinglehouse, PA (also known as "God's Country"), he was the son of the late Walter and Pearl Walters Anders. Andy enjoyed watching baseball and football with his grandson Cary, and was proud to share his experiences of growing up in the Allegheny's. He also enjoyed gardening, music, dancing and fishing. He worked as an auto and diesel mechanic until his retirement. He was a patriot and loved his country, and had a deep compassion for animals. He passed on his courage and strength to all, as he enriched the lives he touched with his warm and compassionate heart. He is now reunited with his parents, a brother Dutch and a sister Valma Abdo. Andy is loved and will be missed by his four daughters: Tayna of Medina, N.Y., Susan McGraw and her husband Scott of Girard, Bonnie of Philadelphia and Karen and her husband Steve Lenze of St. Marys, Pa., and a son: Mark of Erie. He also enjoyed bragging about his nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving is a nephew, Albert Abdo, who was thought of and raised with Andy as a brother. Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard. Memorial contributions may be made to Regional Home Health & Hospice, 3526 Peach St., Erie, PA 16508.

Thomas Jefferson was Delbert Anders father and John Anders was Thomas's father and again we can not find him either. He was first married to a M McCelland and she died within 3 years. We have records of this, them he married married Cutshall (spelled many way) Thomas died in south Bend, In. and we have record of that also. The last we found John Anders is in Ohio with his family and believe he died in Ohio and Mary and the children went to Indiana, as her family lived in Indiana. If you find anything, please let me know. We have a lot looking for him. thanks Joan

There are many of my relatives who lived on the NC. SC border. My grandfather, James Alfred Anders son of Elige (Elijah) who was the son of Henson Anders and Mary M. Henson was the son of Peter Anders lived in Transylvania County. It was also called Buncombe county in some census. Do any of these names sound familiar to you.

George R Anders is an heir to the estate of Peter Anders in the county of Hendersonville, N.C. He died intestate and his real and personal property was disbursed by Linsey Anders who had been given power of attorney. The power of attorney was signed by the heirs in March 1860, so Peter must have died prior to that time. Others listed on the power of attorney were John Anders Sr.,Jesse Anders, William Anders, David Anders, Daniel Anders, Polly Anders,Henson Anders (my great, great grandfather) and George R. Anders. My ancestors lived in a section of Green River Township,Henderson NC, which is right on the Greenville, S.C. line.
