Funeral in Bristol

BRISTOL: Dorothy J. (Brouillette) Angers, 73, of Bristol, died Saturday, April 8, at her home. She was the wife of Gerard Angers.

Mrs. Angers was born March 16, 1933, in Lowell, Mass., daughter of the late Herve and Eva (Lafreniere) Brouillette. She was a longtime resident of Bristol and a member of St. Ann Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, David Angers of Bristol, Mark Angers of Oak Island, N.C., and Michael Angers of Terryville; a daughter, Carol Hedgecock of Bristol; two sisters, Pauline Smith of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and Doris Methot of Saco, Maine; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements: Funeral 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, to St. Ann Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Contributions: Hospice of Bristol Hospital, 7 North Washington St., Plainville 06062.

Juliette Angers died 1968 married James Alfred Myall died 1971 both of Montreal.

No I am sorry I do not have those names in my tree. My line came from Neuville QUe from Augustine Angers. THe John Angers I am looking for went to Wisconsin USA with his brother Augustus in the early 1900. PAt Angers

she married Wilfred Ouillette about 1917/18 per census.

She was born in Michigan, and atleast one of her children was born in Pinconning, Bay Co., Michigan. She was living in Flint, Genesee Co., Michigan in 1930 (census).

I have a Joseph Anger born about 1833 in St. Denis Canada and died abt. 1882 in Southbridge Ma. He married Adele Richards abt. 1856 in St. Denis Canada, daughter of Pierre Richard and Catherine Phaneuf. Joseph and Adele had 6 children. Fred, Arthur Parmelia Joseph Sophie Charles Anger. Charles Anger had 13 children. They all settled in Soughbridge Ma. Other names in family that I am interested in. Lussier, Laliberte, nicholos. I hope this helps.
Catherine Phaneuf. Her father was caught by the indians. I don't have my research story handy at the moment, I will pass on the information if you need it. What names are you looking for.

On the early Angers name you can look for Angers dit Stilly or Teguy as in my family group. I have my line all the way up to Charles Teguy dit Angers from Gascogne France married to Catherine de Geloze My line is direct to France and the first one came to Lorette which was Pierre-Charles Angers dit Teguy married to Louise Blanche Delisle. Angers Line

When I started my research I also started on the Lefebvre dit Angers but I was all wet, my line does not touch the Lefebvre line at all, it is a complete different line altogether, the most complete information is in the Quentin Genealogy book but he only wrote the A volume but the Majority of the Angers comes from the Arthabaska county in Canada, and a few decendants are in Montreal area.

Yes, that's exactly how I have it. My great grandfather was the William, actually William Albert (known as W.A.). His father Thomas died young by drowning. Mary Anne Rumney and her family are listed on the just-released Canadian census of 1881.

For Helen Kaluzny : I just started researching the Angers geneology on the Internet and came across your posting. Augustus (Augustine) Angers was my great great grandfather. Of what I know his family was Patrick, William, Joseph, Augustus, Lena, Eliza Jane, John and Mary Anne. My research indicates Mary Anne married a Rumney and her children were Joby, Alice, Edna, Eliza, William and Maggie Lena. Does this coincide with your information?

Hi Ann;
I am a descendant of Augustus Anger who came to
Canada as a United Empire Loyalist is the 1790's,
with his parents and brothers. They were members
of Butler's Rangers. Augustus settled near a
town called Dunnville, on the Grand River.
Let me know if any of this is part of your family
background. His brothers were Frederick, John Charles
and his sister was Christina who married John
House and returned to the U.S.

I just saw your message. I have a printout from
the Mount Royal Cemetary in Montreal, Quebec.
There is a Sir Auguste-Real Anger (1839-1919)
buried there. He was the sixteenth Lieutenant-
Gouverneur of Quebec (1887-1892) plus a few
other positions during his life. Is it possible
that this could be who you're searching for?

I am looking for information on a Celina Angers, who married a Gregoire Beausoleil Jr.All the information I have on her is that she died on april 28, 1874, that came from the St John the Baptist Parish Records in Keeseville NY. My ggrandfather was Greggary Bosley, born in Altona NY, 1867? He was of french decent, I don't know where they came from or when. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank You.

Hello: Although This is not the particlar John I am looking for,( I found him in Wi. Usa), I think we are of the same family. When my Agustus left Que aprox 1830, he came to trenton area to settle. I have often thought he had relatives in the area. Your Agustus and John are too coincidental. What can you tell me about them. I know when I was at the archives, I cam across John angers land owner Trenton in 1840's.We are decended from Simon Lefebvre and through his son Francois through his son Jean baptiste and then his son augustus. Thankyou

OK. My great-great grandmother was a Mary Ann(e) Angers, born in 1844, who married Thomas Rumney in Coboconk in 1862. Was she a sister of John Angers? The time-frame sounds about right.
