I realize this is an old posting but those names sound familiar to me. My Grandmother was Teresa Arevalo Huerta, unfortunately she died when I was 1 or 2. But I remember a Tio Demetrio visiting my father and I remember visiting La Tia Natalia when I was very young in a little New Mexico town near El Paso.

I am looking for any additional information on Arevalos in Texas. My father Francisco Arevalo (Jr. I believe), was either born or at least living in San Antonio, Tx when I was born in 1977. I don't have any further information other than his birthdate. If you could at least check your database to see if there is any connection with him, i would appreciate it.

Hi, I'm trying to find information about my great-grandfather, Serapio Bidal Arevalo. He was born in Mexico, married my great-grandmother Esmnerenciana Ruiz. They had several childeren. Here is a partial list of the children born to them: Pablo, born about 1892; Carmen, born in 1897;
Alfredo, born about 1905; Teodoro born about 1908. There are other siblings as well and I hope to find them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dad, Jesus M. Arevalo, was born in Baqueachic, Chihuahua, mx. his father was Natividad Arevalo. He doesn't know much about his father's family or grandfather, except that he was recruited as a soldier for Pancho Villa and that was the last anyone heard of him.. Yes Achilles, I do remember you. You were young then (but I am younger than you are) when I met you in Gasan, Marinduque. I am the brother of Hilton Arevalo who was your classmate then at Marinduque Midwest School (now College). Hilton is now married with two kids, a boy and girl and they reside now in Novaliches. One sad note, I learned from my sister, Ate Loida that your brother Ulysses passed away few years back. I wish you all the best guys. God bless us all.

Hi! My name is Ricardo Arevalo am origanally from Donna Tx but born in Washington state in 1974. My dad would migrate to Pasco WA and Conway WA for about 40yrs. My dads name is Armando Arevalo he also has some brothers and one sister but I believe some are step brothers. I have always wanted to know more about our family but my grandmother passed away when I was very young. Her name was Fransica Arevlo she passed away in 1988.I also asked my aunt and she told me we had reletives in Monterry Mx. So if you know anything about her please let me know.

I have recently started researching my husband's family. His mother is Maria Teresa Arevalo (born 1947 in El Paso, TX). Fortunately, I have a lot of names to work with, and have actually created a family tree on Geni with a few hundred people. However, my information stops at my husband's great-great grandfather, Francisco Arevalo. Francisco was married to Margarita (maiden name Araujo). I believe they lived in a town called Zacatecas, MX and moved to El Paso at the turn of the century (as I can tell from reading on here, along with a number of other Arevalos).
I hoping to find someone who may have information dating back to the turn of the century (or earlier) with a possible connection to either Francisco or Margarita. By the way, Francisco and Margarita had 8 children: Concepcion, Luis, Dioncio, Demetrio, Regino, Francisco, Natalia, Teresa.
I would love to be able to trace the family line back to Spain (I assume this is where they come from).

Hello my name is Dolores (Lolo) Florentino Arevalo. We came to Washington State in the mid forties with my Grandpa Dolores (Senior) Arevalo. Florentino is my Great Grandpa and is the person who brought the Arevalo's orginally from northern Mexico. I know the village was close to the area of Monterrey. During the revolution, the Arevalo's were thought to be assisting the revolutionaries and were rumored to be killed in the morning. At midnight, the Arevalo's traveled to Southern Texas mainly as refuge and later settled to a life of farming. As migrant farmworkers, the Arevalo finally decided to settle in the Yakima valley where two generations have been grown. I am basically the 3rd generation of Arevalo here and now live in Seattle.

My father is from San Luis Potosi. thats where there is alot of my family. [Arevalo] also have more arevalo family in Monterrey N.L. and Cali. Ariz. New Mex. and Michigan and texas where i am from. Daughter of Fransisco Arevalo. i actualy have a family tree started. my father has 9 brothers and sisters and in total there are so far 64 first cousins that i have. have more details if anyone is interested.

My written Spanish is very poor so I do hope you can read English -- All the names are there - Guitian, Seoane, Canle - I do believe we are related. My husband is from Maianca (Mera) and even though I was born in New York my Gallego is much better than my Castillan. We just came back from Spain and that is where I found my paternal grandmother's grave. The family grave is marked Familia Guitian. You can reach me directly at my personal email Diaz818@aol.com. I have cousins from my father's fathers side of the family in Olerios - Castro Barral -- but have no information on my maternal grandmother and only have one picture of her and my grandfather which I have been told was their wedding picture -- she was a beautiful woman.

I live in Samoedo (Sada). My 3rd grandmother called Ángela Canle Arévalo. She was born in Carnoedo (Sada) in 1855 and died in Samoedo in 1914. She married with José Guitián Seoane (Soñeiro [Sada], 185?-Samoedo, 1937).

I as most of you am an Arevalo, and unfortunatly there are so many more then I had thoght. The Arevalo Family that I was born into is originally from Chihuahua Mexico. My Granfather died when my father was very young and im not really sure what his name was. My grandmother was Josephine Arevalo. My father had 4 brothers and no sisters they were all born in Arizona in a town that I believe no longer exists was known as Metcalf. They were all raised there and most of the Arevalo family worked as migrants in tyhe fields for many years before moving to Delacer ( not sure how its spelled ) but it is in the Portola Grayeagle area ) California which was sometime in the 1930's or so. Most of them have passed away there names were Raymond Arevalo, Salvador Arevalo, Jesus Arevalo, Alex Arevalo, and still living only brother left is James Arevalo. The only surviving member of the family that may be able to get some history other then what I know is my mother Guadalupe Arevalo I will drill her one day and if I find any of these names mentioned on this board I will be sure to post any findings I will contact my cousin who did extensive research on the Arevalos and has a wealth of info I will run the names by her see if she knows anything and if you all out there find anything else out let me know.

I know nothing of Arevalo, as I was adopted at 5 months from the Childrens home society in Los Angeles, CA. I was told that Arevalo is Spanish. I was born Sandra D. Arevalo. father H. Arevalo, M V. Peyera. I know there were a lot of Arevalos that were in Belvadeer, CA I am 51 years, so parents would be in 70's or so. Keep in touch.
