Jimmy,

I am afraid that I have very little information about my Arizpe family. My late Maternal Grand-Father Antonio Salinas Arizpe lived in General Bravo, Nuevo Leon, Mexcio where my Mother Domitila Arizpe (1933) and her sister Ester Arizpe were born. Both are still living but unwilling to share their stores. My Maternal Grand-Mother Maria Erasma Garcia Gonzalez (191X-2010) was also from General Bravo but I am not sure where she was born. My Mother and Grand-Mother had mentioned that some family members had relocated to Texas including the Rio Grande Valley and San Antoni area. I have not had the time to continue researching but I am intereted in any information.

Hello,

My family is from Cadereyta Jimenez, Neuvo Leon. My grandfather's name was Abraham Arizpe and my Great-Grandfather's name was Antonio Arizpe. I still have many family members living in the area. I also have an uncle living in Chihuahua, Chihuahua.
My goal is to make it to the town church and look at the baptism records to see if there are any leads.

Jorge Arizpe
jorge.arizpe@live.com

To all the Arizpe looking for their ancestors, I have a book dedicated to the most popular lastnames of the north east Mexico, included the Arizpe surname.
I'd gladly share it's info if I find out I am not infringing any copyrights.
Jimmy,

Happy New Year. Thank you for the information. I do not have the resources to gather family history, but I am slowing finding things out.

My Maternal Grandfather was Antonio Salinas Arispe. He passed away from a falling accident when he hit his head. I am not sure where he was born, but he was a Police in General Bravo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I have to go for right now but let's keep sharing information.
Blanca Flores-Arizpe
I believe that Pedro Arizpe is my Grandfather's brother or cousin. My Grandfather was the first police officer in General Bravo. One day on the way home he tripped and hit his head on a rock. He died from that injury a while after that. My Grandmother Maria Gonzalez Garcia was also from General Bravo. She recently passed away in June.

Do you still communicate with your Grandfather? Ask him about Antonio Salinas Arizpe. Maybe we are cousins.

Arizpe Ancestors of Coahuila

Since 1997, I have been researching my family roots with the last name of 'Arizpe' and discovered that all of the families with the last name of Arizpe were blood relatives since they came to the state of Coahuila (from Spain) in late 1790s. If anyone is searching for their 'Arizpe' roots and who ancestors are from the state of Coahuila (Mexico), PLEASE email me so we can help 'each other' put the family puzzle together.
Note: After making many long distince phone calls to Mexico, according to the Vital Statistic Office in Coahuila, records also show by the turn of the century (1900s) many Arizpe families relocated to America (in San Antonio TX area) to make a new home.

Jimmy Garcilazo Campos
My grandfather: Alejandro Campos Arizpe (1902-1988) born in Villa Union, Coahuila and raised and is buried in Nava, Coahuila.
Email: jgarcilazo@yahoo.com
Number: 847-572-7309
