Arther

I have located a memorial stone marker for a "E. I. Arther" (I believe) (b 1841- d 1862) in north central Texas near the border of Eastland and Erath counties. It is alone in a pasture of a friend of mine. The stone has been broken and is broken, directly through the name. I can only see the lower half of the letters and am guessing at the name. Dates are very readable. I am fairly sure of the last name. It is a quarter mile from any current roads in the area. If you can help me find any info for this marker it would be appreciated.

Jane Arther

Seeking more info on g.grandmother Jane Arther, b circa 1855, said to be an orphan, grew up in White Co., GA and married James Colley in 1874.Later moved to Pickens Co., GA and raised a large family. I learned there were other ARTHER families in Pickens, and wonder if they were kinfolk?
