Re: AVON Harry Ontario & BC

Harrys' Dads name was George Avon (according to his marriage certificate)

Only George Avon I found in the 1871 census Ontario

George Avon, Age 24, b. Que. French, Occ. Farmer in Lancaster, Ontario

Harry shows up in Lindsay, Ontario on the 1881 census as
Harry Cropp(Cross). So looks like Hester was not married to his Dad.

Would really like to know of the Avon family in Quebec, Canada. This would fill in my childrens family history.

Many Thanks!
Mary
