Father Thomas born 1841, Mother Margaret McLennan 1850.
Thomas worked in coal mines, went to Canada in 1900

hello

I am also looking at my McIlvenna/McIlvennie side and we have the same people. Thomas 1840 was the brother of my ggreat grandfather James Mcilvennie . they were both sons of Mary Jane McKerley and James McIlvenna/McIlvennie , Irish Immigrants to the Maryhill district in Glasgow .

I believe we are related thru thomas mcIlvenna ( Margaret McLennan) . Thomas had a brother James who was my ggreatgrandfather
