Anna L. Bach, 94,
of Port Vue, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at her residence. She was born July 29, 1913. She was the wife of the late Christian T. Bach
and daughter of the late George and Lucy (Magdic) Draskovic. She was a member of St. Mark Parish,
Turners of McKeesport, Christian Mothers,
and the Port Vue Liberty Mother's Football Club.
She was a homemaker
and worked in the mills during World War II.
Her granddaughter, Luann Leshnock, and her children, were her caretakers.
She is survived by daughters Arlene (John) Carson, of Port Vue,
Christine (Harry) Manning, of North Huntingdon,
Barbara Perri, of North Huntingdon,
and Geraldine (Harry) Anderson, of Port Vue;
sons Timothy (Adele) Bach, of Manor, and Christian (Brenda) Bach, of White Oak;
30 grandchildren;
58 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter Georgine Barna, son-in-law Joseph Perri
and siblings Tina Bortak
and Carl Draskovic.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the HUNTER-EDMONDSON-STIFFLER INC. CO., 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132, 412-678-6191. A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mark Parish with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
