Seeking children/grandchildren of John Brown BAIN born 21st November 1914 at 44 Glebe St, Glasgow Lanarkshire. Butcher's Assistant.
Married Josephine Elizabeth GIBB Dairy Shop Assistant, on the 17th August 1934 at The Barony North Church Glasgow. On marriage registry, both gave 6 Stanhope St. as their residence.
John's father was David BAIN, Fruiterer, born 1889 Glasgow, who died at Arras France in 1916/17. Mother was Thomasina BROWN born 1891 Glasgow, died 25 March 1922. Married 1908.
John's siblings: William 1908 - went to Au. age 15; his children have been located; Martha/Matty 1911 (married Edward WALKER); Jean 1912/13 (married Albert LAKE).
Thomasina had re-wed in 1919 to Robert STRANG. Son Thomas STRANG b.1919. Daughter Thomasina O'Connor STRANG b. 24 March 1922 - died April 1922, age 3wks.
