I have Balderson in my family. They came from Alkborough, Lincolnshire. Some went to Barton upon Humber around 1870. Maybe they are some of yours. Alkborough is not far from Barton upon Humber.

It seems like more than a coincidence to me. My biological sister, that found my brother and I, told me that she had looked it up and that my biological father had passed away. my uncle has been dead about 11 yrs he never knew he had children, that i know of, me nd my sisters where the only grandchildren in the family, i thought he died from a brain anyrism at 52 years old, it was very sudden, he had a headache and we all went to the hosoital, he had surgery, they said everything was good, he died that night in the hospital, i have a aunt jan that lives in dayton, oh, shw was married ti him for a while,i might have a real cousin out there, my sisters and i have no 1st cousins, so it makes you wionder lots of luck Susan

My twin brother and I were given up for adoption at birth. We found our birth mother about 3 years ago, and she tells me that my birth father's name was James Balderson. As far as I know, he didn't even know we existed. May I ask... how old is your uncle James and is he still living?

My maiden name is Balderson my father William Balderson from Wigan, His father also was William Balderson Also my Father had a brother Albert? who lived in Grimsby, I live in Australia came here to live with my parents william and Edna Balderson after the 2nd world war in 1951 and would love to hear about my family history, as I have been informed we were Viking Princes from Norway, William and his two sons John and Richard. my father also had brothers John and Richard. would love to get to know and correspond with my ancesteral family hope to hear from you all soon the more the merrier Thank you

I know nothing about my father's family either, except that his name was James Balderson and He lived in Kettering Ohio. Possibly we are related paternally, but I was also born in 1967. Good luck with your search, and if I run across your father in my search I will let you know.

I am seeking information about my great uncle Emmett Balderson. He was born in Sandyville, Jackson County, West Virginia, on July 29, 1893. What I know from the 1930 Census is that he, his wife Adrianna (birth date approximately 1894), and their son Kenneth (birth date approximately 1927), lived on 50th Street, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, possibly at 254.

I have found that Emmett Balderson was registered in the draft in 1942 and the listed address is 765 53rd Street, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. The spouse is listed as Ada Balderson.

I also know that Emmett Balderson died in January 1964 in Kings County, New York.

If possible, please furnish me with any information regarding the death of Ada Balderson and Kenneth Balderson, when and where they are buried. Also, a copy of Emmett Balderson's obituary would be very appreciated.

I have a William Balderson (b. ?) from Lincolnshire. Son of John Balderson and Hannah (surname unknown). John and Hannah had the following children:

Not sure if this is the same Wm Balderson or not. George Wm is my ancestor who emigrated to Ontario Canada then on to US (North Dakota). I have a little more information, but not much. I'm hoping someone can help me fill in blanks on this family.

It doesn't appear they were from the London area since they were married in the USA and his father was born in the USA. So, I assume he was also born in the US. I don't know about her.

I found ancestors born in Haute-Savoie in 1840 near Annecy and Genève, Théophile and Joseph, with children Jean, Edouard and Cora. I think they went to the United States.

William James Balderson

I am interested in contact with descendants of William Balderson who was born about 1900 in New Bedford, Massachusetts - probably. He was the son of Michael Balderson and Antoinette Befuhs.

William was married to a Margaret H. ______ who he married about 1929 or so. On the 1930 census in New Bedford, they are living on Palmer.

Antoinette Befuhs is the sister of my husband's ancestor and I am working on this line currently.
