      <description>21 Octobber 1927  Evening News of the Tonawandas&lt;br&gt;Fishtrap Operator Falls Into River and Drowns&lt;br&gt;George Balt, 35, who lived on the Million Dollar highway between Lockport and Lewiston, was drowned in the Niagara river yesterday while operating a fishtrap near the Lewiston-Queenston suspension bridge.  He lost his balance and fell into the swiftly flowing river.  His wife, who was with him, witnessed the accident.&lt;br&gt;</description>
