I was born in Huntington Park back in 1981. My dads name is Victor Antonio Banuelos (born in Calexico CA). My grandpa's name is Antonio Banuelos and he comes from Zacatecas Mexico. Thats all I know about my tata though. My tata was born in 1922 and he is still alive

I'm Banuelos through my mother's side Maria de Jesus Banuelos. My grandfather is Julio Banuelos and great grandfather Luis Banuelos. So far I'm 4th generation on both parents side from La Cienega de Room, Monte Escobedo, Zacatecas. I would like to find out more about my other Banuelos ancestors.

My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Rita Banuelos (born in 1910). She was also very short and when we were in Los Angeles, I remember I could also spot her brothers and sisters because they were all short. I am hoping to find her family and I know they were all from LA and/or Santa Paula(I think). My grandmother moved to New Mexico and lived in Roswell, New Mexico. Does any of this sound familiar to you?

If your father is Francisco Banuelos who's parents were Emilio & Refugia Banuelos, than I am your cousin. My mother is your father's sister - Helen Banuelos. He had two other sisters, Beatrice and Irene, and a brother Emilio, Jr. They have all passed. The eldest brother is Tony Banuelos. If I'm not mistaken, your mother's name is Ramona, "Dolly". We made a visit last summer to California to look for your dad but with no luck. My mother recently recovered from back surgery and with therpy, is walking now! She sure would like to hear from him and know if he is ok.

Hi Cecilio,

I read your post and it caught my attention because my maternal great-grandfather's name was Librado Banuelos. I don't know much about him but I do know that my grandfather Nasario Banuelos (R.I.P) was his only son with my great-grandmother. I know his second wife's name was Zenaida and they lived in Jerez, Zacatecas for awhile then they moved to Encenada. My great-grandfather had other children but I don't know who they are. So if this helps you out any please keep in contact.

My Dad's parents the Menchacas, and the Banuelos are from
Zacatecas. My Dad's name is Angel Banuelos he is 86yrs.old.
His father was Domingo Banuelos abt. 1891 Zacatecas and his
father Jose Felix Banuelos. And on his maternial side we
have the Menchacas also from Zacatecas. If any of these

My dad's name is Humberto Banuelos and his dad is Jose Banuelos and mother Maria Banuelos from San Jose de Llanetes Valparaiso. I've met many Banuelos from the Valparaiso and Jerez area and I think it is interesting that all Banuelos are fair skinned with blue or green eyes, so definitely there must be a connection between all the Banuelos families in Zacatecas.

My name is Valeria Bañuelos and I would like to find out my ancestry through my father's side. His Name is Benigno Bañuelos. My grandfather's Name is Domingo Bañuelos and was married to Maria Esparza de Bañuelos. They are from Nayarit, Mex. They lived in a town called Cacalutan. My father's only living siblings are Samuel & Nolberta and has a missing older brother. My father is the eldest living and is 54 yrs old. He had other sister's but I'm not sure of their names at this point ( I know one is Socorro). My grandfather's living siblings are Mecindo and Victoria. My grandparents were from the Valparaiso area {I believe} of Zacatecas. I did hear my grandmother mention the Fresnillo area a couple of times. My grandfather's name was Encarnacion Bauelos. My grandmother's was Mariana Carrillo- Borbon. My grandfather was a cartwright and made cassions for the Mexican army. He became an invalid and eventually died. Fearing the Revolution inscription of young men they fled to Durango where my Dad was born.They stated till my grandfather died. When Pancho Villa was in action, there was a mandatory inscription of young men.So, the family headed west to Nayarit.Then they came to Los Angeles.

I am looking for this Banuelos family for a cousin of mine. He is Carlos Bejarano, Jr. and is the son of Carmen Banuelos and Carlos Bejarano of Bakersfield, Ca. Carlos met Carmen in Soledad, Ca. Carlos Bejarano is trying to locate his family Banuelos, because he doesn't know much about them. I have found many records from what I believe to be this family in Zacatecas, but cannot determine if they are the same family for sure. Did your Banuelos family include a Henry Banuelos known as "Kiki", William or Willie known as "Blondie", Leo, Manuel and of course Carmen. Mi papa es Fidencio Acevedo Bañuelos, hijo de Dominga Bañuelos Bañuelos, hermana de Santos, Santiago y Virginia Bañuelos.
Agustin Bañuelos fue el abuelo de mi papa, por lo que tu bisabuelo Nabor era tío abuelo materno de mi papá y Anacleto primo hermano de mi abuela Dominga, me gustaria mucho tener mas informacion sobre ellos ya que mi papa solo tenia 4 años cuando murio mi abuela, acabo de descubrir esta pagina!! ojala que me puedas contestar.

P.D.Has estado en Zacatecas? hay un museo en el cerro de la bufa, en donde existen varias fotgrafias de nuestros familiares.
