Hello Bev

My name is Janet Corfield and my mother the late Martha Helen was a Noxel, her mother was Henrietta Bardot. Henrietta was my grandmother and Whitmore my grandfather. I never knew Whitmore, however I did meet Henrietta twice in my life as a child. She came to visit us once in Niagara Falls, and the next time that I saw her she was in a retirement home somewhere in Welland. I do not know which one I was only 3yrs old. Shortly thereafter she died in the home. She was 80 yrs old when she died. I am also looking for information on the Bardot and Noxel family tree. Here is my email if you care to contact me, I will share what I have with you Hope you have email?? here is my address fatandfulsome@gmail.com
I know it's a funny email but there is a story there too! Hope you write!

Regards Janet

I am interested in the Bardot family. I have a picture of Frances Mariah Standifer Wiley Bardot. I was told that she was from the wide mouth tribe of Indians from Illinois. Her maiden name is French Bardeau/Bardot. She would be my gg grandmother. Her first husband "unknown Wiley" was my gg grandfather. Their son "Erie Wiley" my g-grandfather. Erie's daughter Grace, my grandmother. Grace married Eddie Reid from Sarcoxie, Mo.

My Appel ancestors left the Lelling area for New York City in 1859 and in my research I found a Suzanne Bardot who was born in Lelling on January 28, 1779 married a Nicolas Appel on February 20, 1810 in Lelling. Her parents were listed as Jean George Bardot who was a fisherman and is listed as being born in 1732 and died at the age of 97 on March 7, 1829 in Lelling.
Jean George Bardot married Anne Ismert on January 21, 1766 and they has at least 3 children Andre, Nicholas and Suzanne who appears to be their youngest. I hope this helps.

Does your Book on the Bardot family give you any information on Adele Bardot's father, like parents and sibblings? Caroline married Gilbert Paquet. Their first 2 children were born in France. Jean Baptiste Paquet, born Oct.21,1871 (in Marseille) and Mary Paquet, born in 1873 (don't know where) their last child, Octivia or Octivie was born in Nova Scotia in 1879. They latter settled in Allegheny County Pa. in the town of Elizabeth.
Could you pass on any more information you have on your grandmother's father's family?
Thank you
Linda Myers
