      <description>I am sorry for your loss. The only other reason I am replying is that my Great-Great Grandmother was Teresa Barranca (Alascia). I was wondering if Teresa might have been one of Mrs. Leonor's husbands cousins. I know that Teresa and her husband (Pasquale Alascia) and daughter (Antonina or Antonnia) came from Cefalu, Sicily. Antonina or Antonnia married nicola Desalvo and lived in Louisiana. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your loved one. Thanks for any help, or information. Georgia De Salvo.</description>

      <description>Albuquerque Journal - January 17 2004&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Leonor Barranca, 91, went home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2004. She was born on February 9, 1912 in Belen, New Mexico. Mrs. Barranca is survived by her son, Richard Barranca; daughters, Quirnia Lopez, Christina Sedillo and husband Leddie, Vangie Moya, Dolores Gonzales and Mary Mirabal and husband Stan; sister, Lucy Salazar and husband Angel; 41 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. Final viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will also be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Sedillo, Todd Gonzales, Leonard Lopez, George V. Moya, Darren Mirabal and Richard Barranca Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Dino Jaramillo. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. SW 243-5222</description>
