Participation in the BARTLETT DNA Project, by living male BARTLETTs from each of these lines, would prove conclusively if they were related or not. With 78 participants in our project so far, we've have developed a "DNA Signature" for 12 distinct BARTLETT lines in Colonial America - these lines don't relate to each other for at least 1,000 years; and some don't relate to others for over 10,000 years (cavemen). I've posted on this board about this Project - just search this Board for DNA.
