I have a marriage record for marc and maragret showing they were married 13 oct 1952 in st aphonse parish, momtreal.
what date was your mom born?

WOW...and WOW. well that certainly explains one of the reasons why margaret deniger's I think daughter wrote and said her mother did not want to hear from me !!!!!!!!!!
Your english by the way is just FINE....
This is just a wild guess... but by any chance was your mother's name Eileen?
am not sure if mty father marc was even aware that he had a step-sister.

yes marc auguste baud is my grandfather...my dad's father...i personally never met him but my mother did.. there are huge gaps in my finding out about my grandfather.
up to this point I can trace him until about 1920...from there on nothing... not a single census... nothing . I am hoping that when the usa 1940 census comes out there might be a mention of him...his 1st wife agnes sweeney died about 1943....

well marc and marguerite deniger had a girl (my mom) but didnt want to raise her so they did give her away.We always knew that. I`m french so my english writing skill is not so good.

i did manage to contact a blood relation of margaret deniger in montreal... unfortunely she cannt write english and of course she could not understand my french !!! her daughter connacted me via email and asked me not to write to her mother... I have a feeling that i may have contacted maragret's sister...any way that door is closed... pls stay in

nope sorry no connection...my grandfather was marc a. baud and his dad was jules a. baud... marc came to canada...served in wwl....married agnes sweeney....
they lived for a time in detriot mi usa....
as far as i know he had no brothers...BUT since marc has been so hard to trace he every well could have...

I not sure if we are from the same line of Bauds. My husband's grandfather was George Leon Baud from New Orleans La. He was in France during WW1 and married a Parisian woman anmed Lucie Tentinier. THey had 2 sons, George eugene and Lucien Paul.

I am compiling family info on my husband's family. I am tracing back the line of George Eugene Baud b 1916 in France. He came to America in 1918 to New Orleans. His father, who was from New Orleans, was an interpreter during WW1.
