Whoa! I am so excited to hear from you Renee. I am hoping that you have info on your Morgan line that I have never been able to find. Of course I am still missing a lot of Baugh/Glascock info too.
Marvel Morgan's mother is a mystery to me. I have her listed as Mary Ann Baugh but I'm not sure if that was her maiden name or not. And who were Mary Ann's parents? It's great that you still have an uncle living that can hopefully remember family connections. I will share whatever I have. Kind of ironic that my name is also Cheryl Lynn.

I am continuing my search for my half sister who is the daughter of Orville O. Baugh. I don't have much to go on, but she went by Patty or Patsy, probably born somewhere between 1927-1933. She had a daughter name Becky. Patty's mother was Rose Stone. They lived in the Los Angeles, California and for a time (around 1937-38) in Pasadena. My dad was a chef, I believe Rose was a waitress/cashier. My dad remarried in 1945 to my mother Virginia Bruhn Baugh. Anyone that might have information please contact me.

Thank you.

That is all of the information that I was told because they were much older than my great grandmother.

Alexander Don Baugh b 1805, Edinburgh, Scotland grandson of John Murray who died in Jamaica in 1800.
Was involved in a court action with his brother James against the Murray heirs in Scotland in 1833 and then I lose track of him. Could he have gone to Jamaica?
Baugh family in Scotland in the late 18th ,early 19th Centuries have strong family Naval links, so I'm working on a hunch here, any help gratefully received.
I also wondered about the name "George" , my 4 x great grandad Baff/Baugh appears to have no documentation prior to his marriage in 1793. Anyone missing a George possible birth around 1770? This is my big brick wall, and I'm exploring the possibility that perhaps he didn't start life in the UK,though DNA shows family origins are Scots/Irish. I hope this makes sense, and someone has info that may help. Thanks in advance (even if it's only for taking the time to read this)

Does anyone have any information on when their Father, another Richard Stanton Baugh was born?
Mary E Baugh, of Fayette, TN married Robert Franklin Warren in 1868

I am searching for Mary E Baugh, married to Robert Franklin Warren of Wilkes Co., NC. I found marriage license which was applied for in Fayette Co., TN in 1868. They moved to Briggsville, Yell Co., AR. Mary would be first wife of R. F. Warren. She was mother of Mary Anna Warren (who married Thomas Jefferson Bolen and then Columbus King) and Sallie Warren Marbury. It seems Mary E Baugh died after Sallie was born and Robert Franklin Warren married again, a Mary E Cothren, who was mother to remainder of his children. I believe Mary E Baugh Warren is buried in the Mt Zion Cemetery in Briggsville, Yell Co., AR. If you have any info please contact: wanda.cothren@att.net Thank you so much

I may need to write her sister to see if there are any in the family pictures she took when Grandmother died.
I will let you know when/if I locate any. I have a feeling they weren't a "picture taking family". I don't recall seeing any pictures of that side of the family when I was growing up.
I do have headstone pictures for Will G and his second wife, Alma. Will post them as soon as I get a chance. Along with other headstone pictures.

Julie in Texas

Hi Julie,
I do know this family well. Will G. probably left TN because both of his parent died within weeks of each other in 1900 + one sister. Then 2 brothers died 1904 & 1905. All of the children received some land, but it wasn't much for each after it was divided 9 ways.

My grandfather, Murphey George Baugh, son of John Mason Marable Baugh, was your Will's 1st cousin. My grandfather and his brothers all left Rutherford County, TN between 1895-1909. The headed north to Indiana because they didn't want to farm anymore.

Let me know what you wish to know. I have a great deal of info. Do you have any family pictures. I have just a few; my grandmother was not a saver.

The Charles & Lizzie Baugh cememtery is still there in Rutherford Co., TN. It isn't large, but fenced and cared for by Rawley Miller Baugh's 1st wife's family, Rowlett.

Curry

Lucille was my grandmother - her full name was Edith Lucille. She married Samuel Glenn Rogers of Frisco, Collin County, Texas.
She had a sister Jewell, b. 1911, don't know her death date yet.
Brother, Roscoe H. 1914 - 1978 and another brother George Atkins that died as in infant in 1913.
George's first wife, Minnie Hendricks died in 1918 and he remarried Alma C. around 1929. I haven't been able to find a marriage certificate for them, she was the only ggrandparent I knew.
George was a dairy farmer.
All this is on my tree McKenzie - Rushing Family Tree
How did you find that Rawley Miller sent George $$ in 1960? If you have any other family members that may have moved from TN to TX in the early 1900's that my help me piece together why he moved. Thank you for sharing information. My mom has never known much about this side of the family.
Thanks so much!
