Simon's mother may have been Rose Dell, from an Island off of England (Isle of Man ?).

Simon's son John (Jack) Baverstock (abt 1899-1980) married Edith Wigston (abt 1899 - 1977).

My maiden name is Christine Elizabeth Baverstock.My father was George Baverstock who married Bernice Fleetwood in Toronto around 1950 .Do you know if Simon had a son named George? George and Bernice separated shortly after i was born but i know his mother lived in the Toronto area as she used to walk me in my carriage and i thought where Simon's wife was named Elizabeth it was worth writing to you to see if this was any help to you or me.

I have seen a picture of Simon's mother, who had slightly darker skin (sort of olive), and was supposedly from an island off the coast of England. I had wondered if she was Manx, but I've since heard that it was actually a Channel Island... and there's some legend about a Baverstock Island as well!
