Eliza Baverstock born Approx 1851. Possibly ran away or was thrown out and then consistently covered her tracks.

I may be wrong, but this may be the woman in my family who was known as Lily Scott when she died. Does that sound familiar? I have a clipping of her funeral announcement...it says she was a sister to James A. S. Baverstock and that William Baverstock also attended her funeral.

Hi,
It is possible, but, unlikely i think. We have her as marrying an African man James George and having several children. It also looks as though she may have tried to cover her tracks. The family has no record of her being a Lily, and i believe she died with our family also.
If i find any definitive information that proves or disproves this link i will let you know.

I have an Elizabeth Ann Baverstock b 1856 Greenham, Berkshire, thats all I know about her, except her parents were John Baverstock & Hannah Head. Elizabeth is the only one I don't have a marriage for. Elizabeth would be my Great grand aunt
