I am looking for information on a marriage certificate for Simon Henry Baverstock and Elizabeth Agnes Humphrey.

Simon Henry Baverstock married Elizabeth Agnes Humphrey on August 6, 1896. Does anyone have a certificate number for
their marriage certificate ----or does anyone know exactly where they were married and if they were married on the date that I have.
Any information that would help---would be greatly appreciated.

Emma Baverstock married James Bone then William Bone

Emma Baverstock born 1843, christening 21 April 1844, Witley England. Married James Bone 25 Jan 1863, then remarried after James died to his brother William George Bone 9 Aug 1868. Father was Wiliam Baverstock. Went on the boat the Warwick from England to NZ with husband William Bone. Died in Nz 1884. Does anyone have any info on her family the Baverstock's or any info on her husbands.

Maria Baverstock is probably the daughter of Maria Coombs and George Baverstock baptised Anna Maria Baverstock in Blandford in 1848 she married a James Cullen in Blandford 1870. I believe Maria Coombs is the daughter of George Coombs and Rachel Troubridge but this would need to be verified by a birth certificate difficult as their children all born and baptised Blandford appear to have been before registration.

Hi Mathew,
I am tracing the Baverstock family history for Samual George Baverstock, born (approx) 1815, married Mary Ann Herring in Tasmania on 2/4/1844. Do you have any history details of Samual (and also ointerested to know if he was a convict or paid his way).

Also interested to find any history on the linkage with Sarah Lambden (who married John Baverstock).

Hi, I have been researching Baverstocks of Andover for some time. I have Sarah, daughter of William and Elizabeth. She as you know was born 22.4.1798. She had a sister born 20.6.1794 who died when she was two and was buried on 17.6.1797 per the Hants Burial Index. I do have a Charles who may be Sarah's brother born 1797. I have seen a picture of Simon's mother, who had slightly darker skin (sort of olive), and was supposedly from an island off the coast of England. I had wondered if she was Manx, but I've since heard that it was actually a Channel Island... and there's some legend about a Baverstock Island as well!

Hello John, I am researching my father's family tree and have come to a dead end. Wonder if you would likely have any information.

My fathers name was Charles Arthur Baverstock, his fathers name was Henry John Baverstock, (born 19th March 1879), married to Annie Matilda Smith on 4th October 1905. Henry's father was William Charles, born around 1841, married to Eliza Jane Darragh. This is as far as I've got. Any help would be appreciated.

The children's names mention here were from Prince Edward County Ontario. They came from England around the Mid 1830's. I can't find what happend to the parents Robert and Hannah. I would like to hear from you if you have Information.

The marriage date for Tim Lambden and Elizabeth Hopgood was 1749 at St Mary Bourne, Hampshire (I do not have the day and month). I am trying to connect my Nathaniel Lambden who married Sarah [surname unknown] and had three children all baptized at St Mary Bourne Church, Andover, Hampshire - Nathaniel 23 Oct 1751, John 15 Jan 1758 and Elizabeth 16 Mar 1766. Elizabeth was my 3x great grandmother and she lived to be 95 years old. She married Isaac Farmer 16 Aug 1789 and their youngest daughter Ann married John Blake (Blake is my maiden name).

There was also a marriage between George Lambden and Marie Night in 1675 at St Mary Bourne.

I have a Frederick Baverstock (possibly born aroung the 1880,s) in my family tree who married my grandmother's sister Anne (her surname was East). They had 3 children - Leonard, Ronald and Trixie. Thanks for the Information my e-mail address is ww58@btinternwet.com I lived most of my life in Braintree Essex, I currently live near Truro Cornwall. I hope to visit Newtown this year and try to do some research at the county records office. I not sure if you know that the film and book Watership down was based on Newtown common. My Great grandfather James White moved from Newtown to Clapham London abt1865 and was head cowman hard to picture cows in Clapham.

Thanks for the message, I've not had one about this John for a while. However I do think our families are related. Firstly though I shoud point out that as far as the date of Maria and Moses' marriage goes 1815 is correct as I have just checked by notes which I copied from the parish registers and IGI. the exact date is 17 December 1815.

Maria's father John Baverstock was born in Newtown, Hampshire in 1756 and on 17 December 1778 he married Sarah Lambden in the village of St Mary Bourne, Hampshire. They had nine children including my ancestor James Baverstock (1797-1832) and Maria.

I have the Baverstock tree traced back to Baverstock (born c1732) who died in East Woodhay, Hampshire in 1810. If you let me know your email address I can send you all the details.

Can you tell me more about this 1851 census you mentioned? Have you got a copy of the census you can email me (either a scan or a pdf file)I am trying to work out who this Elizabeth is.

Whereabouts are you? I'm in Watford, Hertfordshie, UK.

I Hope that you may be of some help I have just started doing my family tree and come across the name Baverstock
My Great Grandfather was James White Born 1847
His father was George White Born 1822
And his Father was Moses White Who married Maria Baverstock.
You put their marriage as 1835 when I checked the http://www.familysearch.org site
They have it as 1815 do you think they are the same line of Baverstocks.
Also can you suggest the best place to do further research?
James White moved to Clapham and married Emma Sarah Crockford 1869
