Cyrus Bay and Lucinda Frame raised their family of twelve children in Porter County, Indiana, from 1850 to 1900. Cyrus fought for his country with the 99th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. A carpenter and cabinet maker by trade, his origins remain unknown. Cyrus was born in Pennsylvania about 1827 to David Bay.
