Hi Margarita, I saw your post in Ancestry, do you have any relatives in Sinaloa, Mex. My Grandfather remarried a women names Rosenda or Dolores. My Grandfather was named Refugio Martinz or Rafael Manuel Alvarado. They had a daughter named Rosario. The last contact with them was in El Quemado or Milpitas,Sin, 30 miles north of Mazatlan,Sin. My Grandfather had 2 children from his previous marriage to my Grandmother: Juana Florentina Valenzuela, my Mother: Maria Galvan or Maria Alvarado, my Uncle: Juan Jose Galvan or Alvarado, both born in Los Mochis,Sin. In my tree I have Jose Maria Aumada married Maria Ygnacia Eulalia Basabilbaso she was baptized on 14 Feb 1793 in San Felipe de Jesus and they were married on 23 Jan 1821 in San Felipe De Jesus,Colima, Mexico; these would be my third great grand uncles. Their children I have found so far through www.FamilySearch.Org are Jose Carlos Maria Marciano born in 03 Nov 1831, Mexico, Distrito Federal, MX and Calletano Aumada Basabilbaso born 1835.

Here's our link: According to FamilySearch.Org; Carlos Ahumada, son of Jose Maria Ahumada and Ygnacia Basavilvaso, married Juliana Mellado on 13 Nov 1848 at San Pedro, Coquimatlan, Colima, Mexico and they were both 16 years old. Juliana's parents were Jose Maria Mellado and Rafaela Alcaraz.

I was just there, Villa de Alvarez, Colima, I requested some baptism and marriage certificates at San Felipe de Jesus. My eldest direct living Bazavilvazo is my aunt, Laura Alcaraz Bazavilvazo, she is 84 years old. I will ask her if she knows any Ylizaliturri's. I was reading your other postings and I also live in California (San Fernando Valley). Perhaps we can meet or send me a photo.

Will you please share your ancestral info as much detail as you can.

both bazavilvazo and alcaraz are family names of mine from san felipe de jesus. The names you gave aren't direct links that I have made yet but I would be very interested in finding out if any of your living relatives in Colima know of Ylizaliturri's in the area-my gggrandma Juliana Alcaraz married Carlos Ahumada Bazavilvaso in 1848 and had my gggrandma Paula Ahumada who married Francisco Ylizaliturri in1880. I have a lot of info for the Ahumadas but none for the Ylizaliturri's. Can you help me. Also, I would love to find out our link as well. Thank you, Sally Ellis

I AM LOOKING FOR RELATIVES BY THIS LAST NAME. MY GREATGRANDFATHER, NICOLAS BAZAVILVAZO MARRIED PETRONILA CRUZ IN SAN FELIPE DE JESUS CHURCH IN COLIMA, MEXICO 1884. THEY HAD MY GRANDMOTHER, MARIA BAZAVILVASO 1890-1961, HER HUSBAND, AMBROSIO ALCARAZ 1890?-1950? THEIR CHILDREN WERE, MY FATHER, ENRIQUE 1927-1996, HILDELIZA, 1929?-1999?, AND LAURA STILL LIVES IN COLIMA. IN A LETTER IN 1992, MY AUNT HILDELIZA, TOLD ME THAT WE HAD BAZAVILVAZO FAMILY IN SEVERAL PARTS OF THE COUNTRY OF MEXICO; GUADALAJARA, MEXICO D.F., REYNOSA, VERACRUZ AND MICHOACAN. MY AUNT ALSO SAID THAT G-MA, MARIA HAD A BROTHER THAT WORKED ON THE SHIPS ON THE PORTS OF MANZANILLO, COLIMA, BUT HE DIED MANY YEARS AGO. SUPPOSEDLY THIS PART OF THE FAMILY IS VERY LARGE BUT I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE FROM THIS PART OF MY FAMILY. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
