I recently found my step-grandmothers 1925 and 1927 diaries and the accompanying pictures.
Info About Marshall Eugene Beaman of Michigan and Indiana

My grandfather passed away when my mother was three and we have limited info on him. His name was Marhsall Eugene Beaman and he had an ex-wife and I believe two or three daughters before he met my granmother. I am trying to locate any info on him and on my mother's half-sisters who she has never met. He resided in Detroit for a long time, owned a farm in Indiana, and then moved to Los Angeles with my grandmother once they married. He worked for Ford Motor Company. If any of this rings a bell with someone please reply. Thank you.

I am looking for info on Austin Beaman who married Rosa B. Phillips. They had at least one daughter named Mary Rhoda who married a Potawatomi Indian named Francis Wesaw. They had 2 daughters named Myrtle and Bernice Bell. This marriage ended in divorce and she married a Sylis McCuen and then a Linus Godfrey. It is believed that due to the stigma of having the indian name that the daughters adopted the name McCuen after her second marriage. Any help would be appreciated. Diane Dettmann

I'm a Beaman from New York City. I have four siblings and my great great great grandfather supposedly came from Somersetshire in merry old England. In my not extensive travels around the country, I've not found many other Beamans but the name seems to pop up more in Virgina, the Carolinas and eastern Tennessee. In the deep South like Mississippi and Alabama, it seems to be Beamon. Are there many Beamans out there and if so are we related and how can we find out?

I have posted several unidentified photos onthe Greene Co, NC web page. Two of the photos had names printed on the backs, Walter Beaman and Hubert Beaman, although I still can't place these names in my database. (See the file names on the thumb nails.) These photos were in the possession of my grandmother, Sadie Rivers Walston b. 1899, daughter of Annie Laura Beaman b. 1874. Other than the two Beaman photos with names, the other photos could be from either the Beaman, Walston, or Dail family lines. All these families lived in the Snow Hill & Walstonburg areas of Greene County, NC. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Trying to trace who Francis Beaman was?

I am trying to trace back my family tree to the last known record I have.

My great, great grandfather was Francis Beaman. Born 1819 and died 1900, possibly lived most of his life in Shrewsbury England.
He was a printer by trade and had at least two children of which one Edward was my great grandfather who moved to Leicester, where I live. I am looking to trace any known Beamans that might have decided to emmigrant to England in the late 18th Century or early 19th Century. Can anyone help me at all.

Kind regards

Peter Beaman

Hiram Walter Beaman-IA Beamans

Trying to get together my family history.
I really need help. My Father was George
Leonard Beaman. Grandfather was Hiram Walter
Beaman. Hiram had a bunch of kids. Melinda
Elvira,James Edward, Ora Mae, Benjamin HIram,
Donald Earnest, Amy Etheleen, Francis Louisa,
Ivan Monroe, Anthony Desmond, just to name a
few. Hiram Walter Beaman's father was Hiram
David Beaman. My understanding is that he came
from a very large family. Originally spelled the
last name Beeman. Hiram David Beaman changed
the spelling to Beaman because they kept getting
all the mail from Beeman chewing gum. Hiram David
was married to Melinda L. Newlon. Her parents were
Benjamin Newlon Martha Perkin. Any help would
really be appreciated. I have found no evidence that
anyone is even working on this.

Blanche Beaman, DOB 3/30/21

I am looking for my birth mother, Blanche Beaman, born on 3/30/21, in Boone Co., IN. I was born Kay Frances Beaman on 5/22/37 in Indianapolis, IN. Blanche's parents were Frank & Laney Beaman. She had a sister and a brother and lived in Lebanon, Indiana on a farm. On 11/2/39, she married Oral Myers. Unknown if she had any other children. Both her parents and Oral are now deceased with Oral passing away in March of 1984. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me concerning the whereabouts of Blanche or any of siblings or children. I have been searching for a long time and need medical information. My adopted name was Carolyn Jane Seward, now Carolyn Seward-Brickner. Oral passed away in Muscatine, Iowa, but I don't know if Blanche was still his
wife at that time.

Beamans of North Carolina

Looking for any information on a Hilda ("Hetty") Beaman
of North Carolina (probably somewhere near Ashe County,
or in that general region/ northwestern Carolina /
southwestern Virginia area). Unfortunately, I don't have
a birth year. I believe she married Jacob Stitt, and
they had a child named Tamsey Stitt. Tamsey was born abt.
1845 (so if Hilda was her mother, born in 1820s/30s?).

Anybody with any information. HELP!!

Thank you ... Jayne

I am trying to locate Blanche Beaman as she
was my birth mother. Blanche was born on
March 30, 1921. I was born in Indianapolis,
Indiana on May 22, 1937. My birth name was
Kay Frances Beaman. I don't know if that
was a family name or not. On November 2,
1939, she married Oral Myers, who is passed
away in March of 1984. Whether she was
married to him at that time, I have no way
of knowing. If anyone knows the whereabouts
of Blanche, her sister Pancey, or her
brother (don't know his name), or her
children, I would appreciate this info. I
have been looking for about 10 years. Need
medical information. Thanks for any help
you can give me.

Carol B
