Hi! So as you can see I am also a Beas. From what i know about my family history is that Beas are pretty much all related! We have family every where. There are tons of beas in Stockton, LA, Riverside, DF, Jalisco, Bay Area where I am from. And we all somehow end up in the same family tree. My great grand father is also Pedro Beas. Beas is from Europe. We are part spanish and French. I would love to see the photos of his father and Grandfather.

Beas are from Espania. Also if you are a Beas from western Jalisco. It would be also possible that you have cuyuteco Indian blood which was a tribe that separated from aztlan thousands of years ago. They spoke Nahuatl tongue.

rikekan hi! you may also be interested in knowing about the "El GRAN CIRCO BEAS" I encourage you to google that you'll be amazed it's really cool and My Grandfather was part of it as a very young child before it burnt down. The circus was one of the biggest and most popular of it's time I read an article about the circuses in those times their was a excerpt from one of the Founders of circo Atayde which said that they would go and perform in any given town and they would only perform for about only two days and would then have to leave. However, Gran Circo Beas would stay in that same town all month long and sell out all it's shows every night for the whole month. This is the guy from the other circus saying that in that article it's pretty cool. Well their is other Beas in Oceanside, CA where and in towns nearby they are cousins and other are Beaz with a Z but they are also from Jalisco so it's wierd but one theory is that back in the day people were not very well educated and that some did not know how to spell the last name correctly. Who knows their is other Beas in stockton, CA and in L.A. in New Jersey I think I found some also but don't know anything about them.

Hello, I am in San Diego, CA. and I have been studying the history of our last name for many years. What I have found out is that the Spanish Kingdom granted a southern territory to a Beas Knight which is why in Andalucia there is a province named Beas. There is also the river Beas in the Punjabi/India. My father's family is from Autlan, Jalisco. But my grandfather was born out of wedlock and we do not know that many Beas. We are told there is a large concentration in DF, Mexico. We do have many photos of his father and grandfather. Salvador Beas was is father and Pedro Beas was my great great grandfather. What is your history.
My grandfather married a Nonnie Beas in 1921. His name is William E. Garrett, Jr.. They had 2 children, Carleen G. - b. 12/17/1923 and Lucille E. b. 2/12/1922. They were left in an orphanage in the 30's after Nonnie left and granfather couldn't support them during the Depression - or so story has it.

Does anyone have any info on the Beas family?? They were married in Greensboro, NC
