Hello,

I am looking for info on a Catherine Carthie L. Beauregard, born abt 1817, possibly in france. She is believed to be the daughter of Jacques Rene beauregard(B. 1790) but we have no records. We believe she married Lorenz Fritz between 1848-58, then went to california in a wagon train.

Seek information on John & Josephine (Gautier?) Beauregard of Detroit, Wayne Co., MI. John, born ca. 1850 in "French Canada" died 1925 in Detroit. Josephine, born 1858, supposedly in Michigan, died 1927 in Detroit. Children born between 1879 and 1904 are Frederick, Rose, Sophia, Louisa, May, Clara, Mabel, Lilly, Edward, Hazel, Earl John, Mildred and Fay Dorothy.

My grandmother, Henriett Beaudrou (born in Quebec) also said that there were native americans in our family, but like yourself, I have had no luck in finding the connection. her first husbands name was Moise Beauregard. If you have any luck in the future I would be grateful for information and of course if I find anything I would be happy to provide it to you.

My great-grandmother Teresa Mary Beauregard, born 23 September 1913, always told a story about how she was related to a native American Tribe, probably the Cree. Has anyone else heard a story like this, because I haven't turned up anything in my research.

I need help. I have a relative named Andre Beauregard who married Cesarie Duverney. Andre was born around 1845 and I can't find his parents. I can't even find an accurate census record of Andre in canada until after he was married. On the censuses after he was married it says the he was born in quebec. I've checked baptisimal records and either the year isn't right or the ink is so faded out that I can't translate it. Please help me out.

Jean Louis Jaret dit Bourgard and Marie Emilie Cote

Hello,

I'm trying to find the parents of Jean Louis Beauregard. When he and Emilie Cote were married at St. Cesaire in 1844, the marriage record lists his father as Pierre, but his mother is not listed.

In several trees that I've seen, Jean Louis is listed as the child of Pierre Jean Beauregard and Marie Celeste Gaumond. They were married in 1823, and several trees suggest that Jean Louis was born in 1823 in La Presentation, but I have not been able to find a birth record to support this. I have not been able to find a Jean or Louis Jaret or Beauregard in St-Denis-sur-Richelieu, St-Charles-sur-Richelieu or La Presentation, where other children of Pierre and Marie Celeste Gaumond are baptized.

Pierre was married three times, but it looks like the first two marriages lasted a short time, and in each case, the wife died after the birth of her first child.

There are several other Pierre Beauregards in that area of Quebec. Jean Baptiste Beauregard is born in La Presentation in 1827 to Pierre Beauregard and Marie Anne St. Germain. Could this be the Jean that married Emilie Cote?

Anyone who has other clues about the birth of Jean Louis or a marriage record that includes his mother's name, I'd sure appreciate it.

Yes, that is my relative too. I am having a hard time finding anything on Eliza, Fabien, and Tarsile, except that Fabien was married twice. Tarsile was first and when she passed, Fabien marreid Seraphine Fontaine in La Presentaion 1873.

My family is from ST Dominique Baget Quebec Canada, My dads name is Rejean born 4-13-41 His parents name is Armand born on Nov 1899, married to Aloilda Beaudoin born 1986, Then I find Armand's parents his dads name is Emile born 1872. and his mom's name is Olivine born 1873 and Emile's Dads name is Joseph born 1846 and his mom's name is Rosalie born 1843.
I want to know if I am in the right path and to find out more then just census records. like year of death, how they died. and if I can get some pics of them please I want to know the family information as far back as I can and pass it to my kids and grandbabies and the rest of the Family So they can see how we originated and to be proud of there Canadian heritage.

We are decendants of Joseph Jarret de Beauregard brother of Andre Jarret lord de Beauregard. Joseph was baptised 1690? in Vercheres. My Great Grandfather was Edouard Beauregard son of Michel and Sophie Rousseau, who was born on July 8, 1860 and died October 1931 but who and when he married has conflicting information. By the information I have then your grandfather Jonas 1890-1960 was a brother of Tillman Aloysuis Sr. b. 1894. Their parents were Joseph Toutant Beauregard and Margaret Guillory.

I found Isaie Beauregard married to Elmire Couture on 21 Feb 1887 St. Hyacinthe, PQ.
He is the widow of Marguerite Gaffeney.
She is the daughter of Laurent Couture and the late Henriette Girouard.
He was baptised on 31 Mar 1857 St. Hyacinthe, PQ
His parents are Augustin Beauregard dit Jared and Marie Marc-Aurele dit Lafeuillade

It is highly likely that this Charles is originally from Quebec. He had a son, Charles, who married Marie Bellerose, dau of Oliver Bellerose and Suzette Savard, at Ft Edmonton, Alberta, CA 18 Oct 1684. Yes. he had two. The first was Marie Antoinette Laure Villere in September of 1841. They had 3 children; she died in March 1850 while giving birth to their third, Laure. In 1860 he re-married to a woman named Caroline Deslonde(she is my ancestor)
