I am looking for Jean Gertrude Beddow, born 1934 and was living in Toronto in 1954 on Roselawn Avenue. She worked as a cashier in a grocery store. That's all I know. Is this the same Beddow family you are looking for information on?
Darlene.

My great-great-great grandfather is George Beddoe born on Nov 17, 1823 died Oct. 1851. He lived in Glenmorgan, Wales. He was married to a Jane Meredith from Bedford England. His father was a George Beddow (Last name spelled different) born in 1745 in Victor, Monmouth, Wales. I have no other information on him. There were 3 children from George and Jane:
Lucretia B; Dec. 1845; D: May 1851
James William B: Jan 1848; D: 1917 (My GG grandfather).
Daniel B; June 1851; D: 1877

My GGG grandmother Jane immigrated over shortly after George died and came to Utah.

My side is also from Wales. The area of Glenmorgan (May be Glamorgan) Bedwelity, wales. Also live in Victor, Monmouth, Wales. George Beddow, born in 1797. he had a son, George Beddo (the spelling became different), who ran a grocery store (told by the woman he married Jane Meredith, who hailed from England. They had 3 children Lucretia b. 12/22/1845 (died 6 years later); James william Beddo b.01/28/1848 (Died in Vernal, Utah in 1917), & Daniel Beddo b. 06/04/1851 (Died 1877). George Beddo died in 1851 in Wales and his wife and her son(My great-great grandfather) came to the USA.
Have you ran across any info on A George Beddow (1797)? They are related somehow. i have no other info on him (father, mother, brothers, sisters, etc., but would love to find out.

Tracy beddo

Dear Keith

I am intrigued by your search. My grandfather (Bruce Beddow of Yorkshire area) married a Stella Grady (also known as Mary I think) in 1926 in Cannock. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters all with christian names beginning B. Is there any connection with your ancestor marrying a Grady. Seems an interesting coincidence.

My email is chrisgrady100@hotmail.com.
Bruce had several brothers and sisters all with the initial B. I am not sure of there chronological order.
Beatrice, Baden, Bertram, Bernard, my father who married Mary Ellen Babb. And Beryl who was principal of the local primary
school in Cannock.
Beatrice (Sis) was a midwife for many years and delivered some 3,833 babies in her time.Sorry I can,t help on the Grady side of the family save to confirm that Anthony did exist. He was married seven times according to Bruce he told me that after my fathers funeral. If I can help in any other way please let me know.
Beddow family - Pembrokeshire

I have been researching the Beddow population in Pembrokeshire, Wales. They were an extensive family in the 18th-19th centuries around the villages of Redberth and Carew, but rapidly dwindled towards the end of the century. Local oral history states that the majority emigrated to the US and Australia. Does anyone have links to this Pembrokeshire branch? Associated surnames include George and Roch. Thanks.
