Searching for ancestors with surname Bee

I am trying to research my grandfather's surname of Bee. His name is Raymond Lee Bee and I know his Mother's name was Mary Dean and his Father's name was Ralph Bee. His brothers' names are Charlie Bee, Herbert Bee, and John L. Jones. His family is from West Virginia, we think from Parkersburg, and we know that his family worked as sharecroppers and lived in WV for quite some time. If you think you may have any information that could help me out please e-mail me and let me know. I haven't been very successful in my search yet. Thanks!

BEE, Thomas Walker

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any info for my great, great grandfather and grand mother Thomas Walker Bee and Sarah Appleyhard. I have details that he married Sarah Appleyard at City of London in Dec but I can't seem to order a copy as I live in Australia. They came to Australia on the Walvisch in 1853 to Port Adelaide with their only son at that time Tom Bee. I have all info from then on but I can't get their marriage or his birth details. I have a christening record for him for 17th Sept 1822 at Shipton Oliffe Sollars, Gloucster, England. I can't go back any further until I find out who his parents are adn where and when he was born. Thanking you in anticipation

I am interested in hearing from anyone with info on John Tallant Bee and his wife Ann Appleton. In 1849 they emigrated from England to South Australia and settled in the Nairne area. They had a number of children including: James Tallant Bee died 1874 in Saddleworth, South Australia; Jasper Bee, Ann Appleton Bee, and Sara Appleton Bee married Edwin Palmer in 1878 in Saddleworth. There were likely more children than those listed.

Surname Bee for Kren Young

This is for Kren Young. My husband is a Bee and he is from Doddridge County in WV. I have done some research on his relatives. You may want to go to your local library and look up Bee in the Census for Ritchie County and Doddridge County. My husbands gr-gr-gr-was Ephriam Bee orinated in New Jersey--I haven't gotton to what ship he came in on. He was married twice. First wife died and he had a total of 20+ childen. He named his one daughter West Virginia, because she was born on the day WV became a state. He also had a restraunt that politions and dignitaries would visit. And because so many children some called the restraunt: "The Bee Hive"--West Union is the town that I recieved this ifo--from a small news letter called "The Herald". It puts out the history of West Union which is in Doddridge County and about 45 Minutes from Parkersburg,WV which is in Ritchie County.---Good Luck on Your search I do have some other info if you would like to have them --please e-mail me at Levi111@webtv.net.
does anyone have information on a Preston BEE, a farmer from lincolnshire England who emigrated to the US in the mid-1890s in his late 50s. he was born in osgodby, lincolnshire, england in 1837 and married an annie, surname unknown, also from osgodby. BTW, there were a lot of Bees in lincolnshire, as a search in the 1881 british census will reveal and i suppose there are still quite a few of them around. I am descended from him on my mother's side from Preston's children who stayed in england and moved to manchester

An ancestor listed in the 1881 census had his occupation listed as "annuitant". I know an annuitant is a person entitled to receive benefits or payments from an annunity. Does anyone know if this definition applied in 1881 England? In prior records, he was listed as a coal miner. Any thoughts on if the annunity
came from the mine? Any suggestions on if it'd be possible to track this down? Thanks!

Henry Bee search

I am trying to verify information on Henry Bee who married Caroline Behm in Cook Co. IL Nov 1885. They had at least 3 children one being Henry William Bee (My father) b. 1898 in IL. d.Dec 1959. (m. Gladys Lorine Hocking.abt 1930.) another daughter (name unknown) who last known was living in FL. (she had a son named Don or Ron living in IND) and another son whose name from what I can find out was George Bee. b 1888? in IL. I think another brother may be James R. who would have been born abt. 1895. They owned a grocery store in Midlothian IL. in their early marriage, that was lost in a flood. These Henry's are supposed to be from a long line of Henry's maybe 5 generations back perhaps coming up from the south. (Missouuri?) Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Bee in Illinois

Hi....I just found out my great aunts last name and it is Bee, her name is Florence Francis Bee and she was born in Joliet, Illinois in 1907. I have no other info about her other than she married an Edward A. Marshall and that she lived in Indiana. I was around her most of my growing up years and young adult years but she would never talk about her family so I dont know anything about them. She is my great aunt by marriage but I would love to find out more about her family. She passed away 11 years ago so I cant ask her anything now. Any help would be very much appreciated. I found her last name on her sons marriage application so that led me to here.

The UK 1861 census shows a John BEE aged 45 as farm bailiff in Irby upon Humber. He reportedly born in Bulwell Notts. He is show with his wife Mary and assorted children all born in Irby, including the youngest, Philadelphia, aged 3.
children all born Irby.

A Philadelphia Bee, probably the same one, married William Marshall in Louth in 1878, and a Philadelphia Marshalll married John Hill, registered in Caistor, in 1889. She is 2g-grandmother to my children and I would like to find out more about the family, if anyone has any connections. I have not yet sent for the certificates but plan on doing so.

I sent for a request for change of records from SS for a Noah Milton Bee(thinking it might be one of my Bees who moved to California). He wasn't but the information might be helpful for someone regarding him. There as a new card request on July 18, 1943 by Noah Milton Bee who changed his name from Noah Bixwell. He lived at 1901 East 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA and was born Sept 25 1916 in Warsaw Poland. His father is listed as Efraim Birsawsky and mother as Paula Cukor. He was umeployed at the time. On further checking, I could not find any Noah Bee anywhere until I went into the Social Security database on Rootsweb where I found that this N. Bee died 4 October 1992 and his last residence was in Encino, CA 91316. So perhaps someone will get a clue regarding all these changed names for this person. I have the form if anyone is related to him

I am Henry's grandaughter. He was born 1898, married Gladys Lorraine Hocking-had 10 children, died 1959. Does anyone know any information about grandfather Bee? He may have switched his name form Henry to William. No one seems to know of his family. There are many stories and they do not make any sense. He had his family in Chicago area. His wife's family originally is from Tennessee.

INDIAN PRINCESS NAMED "ANNIE BEE"

My greatgrandfather to the 8th generation named Benjamin Blades I came from England. Of which part i am not sure, but he married a beautiful Indian Princess named Annie Bee. They came over I believe in the late 1870's and settled in Spring Creek, Kentwood, Louisiana. They had a son named Benjamin Blades, II around 1820 and he died in the 1900's and was buried at the Spring Creek cemetary. Anyone with any information as to Annie Bee's family would be deeply appreciated. Thank you, Jo Ann
