<title>Re: George BERE Married Elizabeth IRVINE 1878 Ontario Canada</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/surnames.bere/1.1/mb.ashx</link>
<description>From the info I've found, George and Elizabeth married July 11, 1879 in Blanshard. George was born 1836 in Devon, England. His parents were George Bere and Elizabeth (or Betsy in some records and I don't know her maiden name). Both parents were born in England, George in Huntsham 1802, Betsy 1806. They had 11 children I could account for. John b.May 1827, Elizabeth b.1829-30, Matilda b.1832, William (Eva Bere's father) b.Aug 18,1833, George b.1836, Sarah Maria b.Sep 1838, Rhoda b.Sep 1842, Benjamin b.Feb. 12,1846, Matilda (the second one, I have suspicion the first died in ENG before they immigrated) b.Apr-Jun 1848?, Horatio b.1849?, and Joseph (Joe)b.Sep 1852. I have some names of spouses, some children's names, copies of marriage records, I know more about John the oldest. George(b.1802) and Elizabeth immigrated to NY Feb 16, 1856 from Liverpool, ENG, they had with them their 8 youngest children. I found no record of them in Boston, MA (where they said was their destination---probably because their oldest John was already in Boston by Sep 1852 and married, but George and Elizabeth moved to Ontario, etc. Well, hope this helps a little, if more info is needed let me know. I know most of John Bere's (the oldest) descendents, myself being one. Good luck. Amanda Dowd</description>
