Hello, I don't know whether you're still there or not, but I'm really interested in the Ouellette side of your family. My mother is a Ouellette as well and she had aunts in Nashua and also in Manchester NH, I believe.

She told me of her aunt Claudia married to a Caron, but I'm not sure as to these are the ones I'm looking for. Is Claudia's father name Théophile Ouellet? Does she have a brother named Alphonse, my grandfather?

If you have any detail concerning these people, please answer me back.

I've been contemplating the idea of finding my relatives in New Hampshire and I'm not sure where to start, so thanks if you feef you can do anything for me.

Thank you and goobye

R

I recently discovered that I am a descendant of Jacques Bernier dit Jean de Paris. My great uncle has a record some where of our family history, yet he isn't sure where he has it, or how he could get a thick book to me. His son has also told me that his grandparents names are listed in the book listed above that was published in 1958(?). His grandparents would be Wilfred(1897) and Juliette(1901) Bernier. So, my problem is, unless I can get a hold of the records from my great uncle, is there anywhere(online preferred) that the records are listed in such detail? I've searched myself, but most tend to not have a full list, or cut off earlier than that.

Saludos Marcos ;

Exito
Lcda.
Looking for records, pictures, history of my Bernier/Lapierre roots from CAN to Michigan to Milwaukee,WI

My G Grandpa is August Lawrence Bernier-b-1866 in CAN.Beyond that I have no info.on his occupation, his life & why he came to Milwaukee,WI with my G Grandma Elizabeth Lapierre(b-5/19/1879)CAN.I know her parents are Napoleon & Anastasia, what was her maiden name, where she lived, where she died?... don't know anything beyond that either.I have a picture of my Great Grandparents, and Elizebeths parents too. They look wealthy..royal like.Is there any royalty on either side of my family?I was told we had SEAL OF KNIGHTS..what that means I'm not totally sure.My Grandpa William Joseph Bernier was born in Houghton,MI,USA on 5/6/1904.He was 16yrs old when he & Adelore(Eddie)b-1914) his brother(17yrs) went to work for Union. He lived on a Lumber Camp property.Worked for ?.Can someone pls expand that for me.He moved to Milwaukee,WI definitely by 1925 because this when he married my Grandma,Laura Olga Felder Bernier(b-10/24/1906)They both are buried in West Bend,WI.Also,my Grandpa William was kicked out of the Army.I was told he killed his Sargent.Had a dishonorable discharge. No one knows anymore than that.He worked for The Milwaukee Road with my Dad, Harold Bernier for over 30yrs.Grandpa retired in 1970's.He died in 1978.My Dad was a Blacksmith & Grandpa was a Foreman.I have pictures of August Bernier(my G grandpa, his sister Emma Bernier(b-1900-MI) married a Gauthier. He also had 2 other sisters, Eva Bernier(b-1906) which she married a Felder(my Grandma Laura's brother), Genevieve(b-1913),brother Alfred(b-1902).My Grandpa William family all were born in Houghton,MI & surrounding areas. In earlier Census records it shows Grandpa & all family lived in St.Louis County,MN till next Census of 1920 where it shows them back in MI. Why did they move back & forth? I have 3 brothers, 1 sister, all married, have 5 nieces,5 nephews,2 Great nieces,1 Gr.Nephew now.My Mom is Jeanette.she is a twin.My Dad Harold has 2 sisters, 1 brother.Russell(oldest brother)he married Katie. They had 4 girls(2twins girls), Viola was his sister, married George Lang.Delores is Dad's living sister. She married 5x.George Groth is her husband. Our Bernier family is HUGE!! I see other Bernier from WI, however, they aren't related to me..yet. I don't know who August's brothers or sisters names so I don't know who I'm related to.The same holds true for my G Grandma's side(Lapierre). Her siblings..I have no clue, so I can't move forward on my family tree. I see a lot of Pierre Berniers are my GG's, Isadore, are from my lineage, but it becomes very overwhelming & I need help. Did we own land? If you have anything u can share on my lineage, pls send it to my email address sbernier3@wi.rr.com. I live in WI,USA. I am disabled & could use someones good fingers as mine swell up fast. Can't type for too long & need to rest. Looking forward to hearing from my relatives near & far as soon as possible.God Bless!! Susie Bernier

My name is Bill (bernier) Tuttosi from Russell Manitoba Canada. I am a desendant of Thomas Bernier/Elodia Babineau my GG grand parents. Thomas's parents were Blaise Bernier & Modeste Abeland his brothers were Godefroy and Napoleon. I have started a tree under William Bernier (my grandfather). Thomas was born in Quebec but in 1901-02 moved to the US unknown as to where. His son James was born in the US. The family then came back to Canada and homesteaded land at Albertville, Saskatchewan. I would appreciate any info on my ancestors and I do have info on Thomas and his line to the present.

Thomas Bernier and spouse Lydia(Elodia) both born in Quebec as were their children, Eric, Alfred and William. The moved to the eastern US sometimes in late 1899. James was born in 1904 in the US, possibly Mass. They then immigrated back to Canada in 1911. Thomas homesteaded in NW of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada. My grandfather William Bernier also homesteaded there. He marrie an Antoinette Laliberte (from San Clara, Manitoba Canada) They were married at St. Eustace, Manitoba Canada. They had 3 children Marie Theresa, Paul and Blanche. after William died Antoinette married Rene Corriveau from Albertville, Saskatchewan Canada. My mother was Marie Theresa, who gave me up for adoption in 1950. In 1952 she married Emile Lavoie of Albertville, Sask. The following Berniers from this line are buried in the Albertville cemetry; Elodia, James, William, Paul and his wife Dora, Antoinette and 2nd spouse Real,Blanche(married surname Weldon). I beleive Alfred may be buried in a Prince Albert Saskatchewan cemetry while Eric may be buried in a town west of Prince Albert which I will have to investigate further.

Ivelisse,
Hello. My name is Ingrid Carretero Claussell. I am researching the Clauzel/Crouzet families of PR. But I am interested in a man named Santiago Bernier who lived in Guayama, PR. Really don't know much about him except that I found a baptismal record for a son that he recognized in 1860. The son's name is Juan Francisco de los Reyes born May 24, 1860. The godparents were Ysidoro Crouzet & Luisa Danzo.
Thank you. My e-mail address is ic19@columbia.edu.

Odile Bernier wife of William Landreville

So lucky to have a big family group picture of the Bernier taken in 1905,as documented by my grand-mother for the 50th weeding anniversary of her grand-parents Bernier.

Unfortunatly I do not know there names. Here are the only info I have.On the picture I see my grand-mother who was 18 at the time the picture was taken because she wrote it at the back. She gave me this picture a long time ago, because I was a making my genealogy and she was very proud of me.

On the picture she is standing by her father William Landreville and her mother Odile Bernier. Odile is sitting at the right of her mother and father, my grand-other grand-parents Bernier with a all bunch of sibling unknow to me but perhaps one of your ancestry would be in this picture. In the front of the house where this picture was taken,is the flag of the Union Jack. Is it also probable that JOSEPH BERNIER, brother of my great-great grandmother was also on this picture with is second wife name Elmire Boucher. It is documentated by my great great aunt, Marie Landreville, that they came from the United States for this event, from Lewiston Maine ?? and from New Hampshire. I also have a picture taken of my father Raoul Turgeon, age of 14 monts in 1912 son of Alfred Turgeon and Nelly Landreville that was sent to my great parents William Landreville adressed in Jefferson Junction New Hampshire, last know adress... If any one has information on the Bernier line you may write at jeannedturgeon@yahoo.ca

Best regards
