hello ive been looking for berringtons too. i live in redditch .this is what i know of my family . my great grandfather was benjamin berrington i know he did service in the army in india also he lived in rowney green just outside of redditch .his wife gave birth to twins only one lived my grandfather raymond berrington. he married ena i dont know her maiden name . they had three children the only boy being my father steven berrington . if you have any info about berringtons please could you email me as i have just began my search especailly berringtons from the midlands. thanks alot hope to hear from you soon

My great-grandfather Charles Berrington was born in Abergavenny to William and Isabella (Hill) Berrington in 1855. After William died Isabella and the children Charles, George and Sarah moved to Wolverhampton in Staffordshire.
Do you know who the parents of your William Berrington are? I'm wondering if they're any relation to mine. Thanks.

Hey im not sure if this is any help but im from Swaless also. Do u think that maybe somewhere down the line a family memeber married and the surname became Berrington-Davies? My Father was actually born in S.africa around 1958..

There was a Berrington-Davies family in Glamorgan. There is a Berrington Castle where they lived. I have an article on it if you'd like a copy.
I recently found that my Berringtons may be from Hereford before they lived in Abergavenny.
