Can anyone help me find details of a Malcolm Biswell, could have been born in 1942 in Muchenley, Nr Yeovil, Somerset. He married a Margaret Becky in 1963.

Frank Edgar Besgrove b.1938

Looking for information on the death of Frank and his two sisters who all died on 3.6.1948 in Illinois. Their parents were Clarence Edgar Besgrove and Mary Linenweber. I am descended from Eliza Brownsey who married Charles Besgrove in Somerset England. Clarence comes from this line also.

I am a Besgrove and my family and I are directly related to James, Charles, Elizabeth, etc. There are currently 4 generations of Besgroves still in Fairbury (I am the second youngest generation). My grandfather had an extensive family history professionaly compiled that includes details details on Charles/James/etc. Feel free to e-mail us for more information.

Hi Margaret,

At the moment, there's still no proof that your James Besgrove c.1855 was related to James Brownsey Besgrove 1846 who went to America.

Your James Besgrove was descended from Joseph Besgrove/Bisgrove c. 1755, wheres James Brownsey Besgrove was descended from Robert Besgrove c.1756. Both Joseph and Robert came from Kingsbury Episcopi, Somerset, England.

I am also descended from Robert Besgrove c.1755 but I keep the descendants of Joseph Besgrove/Bisgrove in my Family Tree Maker (FTM) file, too.

I'd really like to hear from you when you get the chance.

Did Margaret Cameron ever contact you again about her ancestor, James Besgrove c. 1855, who came to Australia with his parents in 1856?

You'll probably know by now that this James was the son of Charles Besgrove c.1829, a grandson of Joseph Besgrove/Bisgrove c.1755.

I'd love to make contact with Margaret and would be pleased to have your help with this.

My name is Robert Lee Besgrove 10/18/65 born Avalon CA living in Chico CA.

My brother was Mark Allen besgrove, Deceased.
My sister is Jeanette Marie Besgrove-Hayhurst, living in Marysville.

My only child is Megan Renae Besgrove 6/7/91 currently attending college in Florida.

Charles and Eliza Besgrove of Somerset County, England had five sons. Henry, William, James, Charles and Alfred. I did not know there was a sister. I have learned James arrived in US about 1861 and was traveling alone. It sounds as if the William in your family may be the brother of my great grandfather James.

The James you describe is probably the nephew of the James of my inquiry. I will check dates and get back to you on that. Also, another researcher also last name of Pooley is researching the family. Do you have a relative also researching who you are aware of?

My relative, James Besgrove arrived in Moreton Bay in 1856. He was born in the Kingsbury Episcopi, Somerset the previous year to Charles Besgrove and Elizabeth Elliott. Could both James' be related?

Could this be James Besgrove, son of Charles Besgrove and Elizabeth Browning Besgrove? Their children would include: Henry, Charles, James, William (my ancestor), Alfred and a sister Mary Anna. Don't have any additional info on James, but can tell you William Browning Besgrove married Elisabeth Stauer and their children were Nellie, George Henry, Alfred, Frederick James (my great grandfather), Charles and Ernest. My great aunt, Agnes Besgrove said the family came from Somersetshire County, Kingsbury Village, England around 1880. I just recently found out this info. Email me for additional story.

I am researching my grandfather: Charles A. Besgrove from Sometshire England. He came to the U.S. about 1883, he had 5 brothers and 1 sister, names unknown. they settled in Fayette Misouri, with his father, William and mother Elizabeth. he was born in 1876 and owned a hotel in Hannibal, Mo in the early 1900's I found a ship manifest of him returning to the U.S. in 1913 with a brother(I think) name of Alfred, on www.ellisisland org.
