Bettisons in Dallas, TX 1920s-30s

Specifically looking for information or leads on how I might be able to find information on the adoption of my paternal grandmother, Bette Bettison. Her adoptive parents were Dr. David L. Bettison, and his wife Ninna L (maiden name Crowell). I believe Bette was adopted as an infant in about 1920, possibly in or near Dallas, but I don't know for certain.

My late husband (Stephen Dunstan) and his sister (Pamela Jane)were the children of Jessie Florence Bettison, whose father was Sidney Bettison, I believe the brother of your great grandmother Jessie. Stephen, but mainly Pamela, did a lot of family history research in Cornwall and I have all the files relating to this. You probably have as much detail as I do, but I don't know if you have photographs. I have 2 which may be of interest. One is of the Bettison family in about 1879 (including your g.grandmother) and the other a later one of Richard and Jane, the parents. I will attach them anyway. Jessie was my G grandmother,her parents being Richard Bettison born 1833 St Colomb, Cornwall and Jane Benney born 1833,also in St Colomb. Does anyone have any more info on any of these??

My GGGG Aunt Honour Sturtridge ( born: 17 Nov 1772 Luxulyan) married John Bettison ( born: 1776 Colan) on the 29th Aug 1801 St. Endor's Parish Church.

I have collected some data about their family, but can't seem to find when Honour died. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any information on this?

I recently found a message on another site from Debbie Ferris requesting info. on Martha Bettison and Clement Wm Oram. This was posted in 2003. If you see this Debbie or if you have been in contact with her recently, please get in touch as Clement and Martha were my great grandparents and I have information on their families.
