THOMAS BETTS and MARY ANN WATTS:
Thomas son of William & Elizabeth BETTS, was born 11th December 1827 in Weathersfield, Essex, England, he was christened in the Congregational Parish chuch in Weathersfield, Essex. Thomas and Mary were married on the 23rd November 1852 in St Luke's C/E Church in Liverpool, NSW by Rev. James Walker, witnesses were J John Watts of Smithfield NSW and Ann Fedden of Sydney.
THOMAS BETTS died 25th Sept. 1869 in Parramatta.
MARY ANN Watts was born in 1830 at Richmond, NSW, her parents were RICHARD Watts and ELEANOR TOMLINSON who married at Richmond in 1823.
After the death of THOMAS BETTS, Mary Ann married in 1879 at Parramatta NSW, GEORGE HOLLIER son of Thomas and Mary HOLLIER, he was born 1835 in Sydenham, Oxfordshire, England, Immigrated from Liverpool, England 23rd Dec 1843, arriving Sydney 29th April 1844, on the "United Kingdom".
George HOLLIER died 1909 Parramatta NSW.
MARY JANE BETTS eldest child of Thomas BETTS & Mary Ann Watts was born 13th Aug. 1853 Woodlands NSW, Christened in the Baptist Church, Macquarie Street, Sydney by Joseph Kemish on 28th May 1854, Mary Jane died 1923 at Liverpool NSW, she married in 1875 at Parramatta ARTHUR HOLLIER who was the younger brother of George whom her mother married after her father died.
