i have also been seraching for the Betts lineage and have the Robbins book. i am looking for the gap that exists with Jared Betts who was the son of Thomas I along with Ephraham both born in Conneticut. my husband is descended from Jared's line through jared jr to samuel to charles who ended up in Hodgden, Me. but have been unable to link who jared's wife was and any real link to jared jr. the book claims early documents were destroyed by the indians. i would also like to know what you find if you visit the east. i was planning a similar trip this summer and will post what i find if anything. thanks
