What information are you seeking? I have Margaret Biles and Adam Keck listed on my tree. However, this message is old and you may have already found what you are seeking.
Margaret Biles b. June 20, 1822 daughter of William P. Biles and Mary McCauley married Adam Keck December 27, 1849. I have four children listed, William Patterson Keck,
Evanda M. Keck, George Washington Keck, Mary Ella Keck. I have no information on Adam Keck's family.

I share the same tree and I was wondering if you have any oproof that Thomas Biles father was William and His father was William Sr. You may be familiar with "How Green was Our Valley" which is a book on This Biles family history. Teh onlyproblem was the Authioor (Bryan BIles) did not know the father of Thomas Bile s "AKA SIr Tommy"of Rown COunty NC. I would sure appreciate it if you could provide me with a source on this information.

Hello:
My name is Kevin Biles and I my hometown in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, Canada. I am presently living in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.

My intend is to trace the origin of my ancestors who I believe came from England. Very interesting to see so many Biles families living in the Unites States.

I did have `great uncles` Jim and Harrison Biles who have both since passed away.

Regards
Kevin

Regards
Kevin Biles

Just wondering if you know
if everyone in this pic are closely related (father, mother aand children..or could there be some cousins in the picture? Would appreciate any info you could supply.
IThank you.

Hopefully you have an alert on this message board. I found someone had uploaded a marriage license for what I believe are my great grandparents. Check out my tree and it is attached to sadie Biles wife of William Wales

Ok. Here's what's killing us:
Martin F. Walls (F)
Lyin or Lydia or whatever "Biles" "Boiles" (M)

Son: William F. Walls

Marries:
Sadie Biles (how odd...and it gets tougher)

John Biles (father)
Maggie Walls (mother)

I would never have believed this if someone hadn't attached a marriage certificate...The document looks authentic.

Handwriting is a challenge and at least now we know why its been confusing.

Happy hunting.

Send me a message via Ancestry after you've looked at my tree. I don't think we're the only ones working on this little puzzle.

I wonder if anyone could give me Thomas Biles correct lineage from his father. He was born abt.1746 and was either born in North Carolina or moved there. It has been speculated that Charles Biles was either his father or grandfather. William Biles and Jopanna Hellard may have been his great grandparents. His ancestors were Josia Biles and ALexander I and Alexander II I just do not knopow the correct order. Any hel[p would be appreciated.

His father was also a Named Alexandeer and his wife was named Ann Spears. if this is the same family there is a book titled "How Green Is our Valley" It is about A biles family. That might be a source or contain a source within it. I just thought ii would pass it along I hope it helps.

I am looking for more information about the Biles/Byles family. My great grandmother, Mary Josephine Biles, was born at Fort Jessup in 1853 and died in Sabine Parish in 1929. She married my great grandfather Marshall Benton Petty from Tennessee in 1871. One of their children, my grandmother Maggie Lille Petty, married my grandfather William Taylor Addison.
