I think that I am a distant relative. If your mother was Elizabeth Hynes, then she was the daughter of Albert Hynes, my ggg Uncle. I have done a fair bit of work on Albert and his brother Michael who was my gg grandfather.
I would be very happy to exchange information.

Found on the 1900 Nolan Co.,Texas census.
Abbott Bindone, grandson, age 1yr., born Jan. 1899 in Texas.
Mother born in Texas, Father born in Italy. This child was living with my gg-grandparents James and Mary Yardley. I am tracing the Yardley family and I would like to know who this childs parents were. Bindone was spelled this way on the census form. It may or may not be spelled right. If this name sounds familiar or is in your family tree, please contact me.

I thought it would be worth me dropping in to say hello. A few years ago I was in communcations with Dave Bindon, Lucas McCaw and Donald Bindon regarding the Bindon family tree research. After a joining of gedcom files I disappeared into the ether as family and work life got in the way.

I'm now back up and running and trying focus towards researching more about the people and their lives than how many I can get on a single chart.

I just found your web site and noted that you had listed The family of James and Jane, (Newton), Bindon. I'm directly connected to that line through John Newton Bindon the first. Actually I'm John Newton Bindon the third. Diane Wilson and I have connected as two sons of William and Ann Nethercott are our GGG Grandfathers. We seem to be stuck at William and Ann though. I have another mystry too, My GG Grandfather John Newton was married twice in England. The second time, after his first wife Ann died, was to a Mary Jane Bailey in 1873. I haven't found any record of what ever happened to Mary Jane. He married for the third time to Julia Ann Johnson Peck. I have the rest if you are interested.

Yes please to the gedcom. Have since discovered she is Mary Ann Pollard, sister to my William Pollard. Hooray!!

According to information I've been given, her maiden name was Pollard. Let me know if you'd like a gedcom of this branch of the Bindon clan (which is, as yet, not linked to mine). Best wishes

Hi, researching William Bindon born abt 1843 Exford, married to Mary A. with 7 children according to 1881 and 1891 censuises. Need more help on this! What was Mary A.'s maiden name, hoping it might be Pollard or Blatchford.

I was in Totnes a couple of months ago, for my sister's wedding. My Bindon family doesn't yet have a link to Totnes though. But I do have plenty of information for you if you're still looking - just get in touch, and I'll see what I can give you.
By coincidence, my great-grandmother's Randle ancestors come from Berry Pomeroy - and the Thomas Bindon you mention was apprenticed to my ancestor William Randle at Castle Mill in Berry Pomeroy!

My sister is maried to a Bindon, Totnes Devon. She is looking for his ancestors and has managed to get as far back as his great grandfather Thomas bn 1819 Berry Pomeroy, m Sarah Farley apx 1846.
She is trying to find any ancestors to Thomas, she thinks Thomas's father and mother were William and Susanna(Parnell?). Can anyone verify this, any help whould be appreciated.
