Harmon Bingham, born in KY in 1827 was married to Lucinda Cox, daughter of Nathan Cox and Margaret Cantrell. The Coxes and Cantrell's both spent time in Lafayette County, MO, and the families can also be found in Knox Co., KY prior to that. Also living in Lafayette Co., MO in the 1830 census was James, Harmon, and Tapley Bingham. Their brother John Poindexter may have stayed in KY, married, and started a family, spending a short period of time in MO, but missed the 1830 census. By the 1840 census he was in Carroll Co.,AR where he homesteaded. In researching these brother's, my gut level feeling is that this Harmon was the son of John, as descendant's of the other brothers are shown as being born in MO. Harmon's brother, William, b. @1827 married Naomi Cantrell, and they also lived in Uvalde Co., TX. They are all on the 1850 TX census.
