Hi George. If you're researching Binning(s) ancestry, I believe Goerge & Ann Binning to be the parents of Charles P. Binnings (the "s" becomes added) who immigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana sometime in the 1840's. Charles was a riverboat captain. His son, Clement Plato ran DeLignes Plantation (5,000 acres) and died in a sugarmill when my great grandfather, Earl Sharp Binnings was 12 yrs. old. Earl S. Binnings owned a steamship agency and retired to his weekend home, Sunnyside Plantation in Thibodaux, LA. He died in his bed in 1977 at the age of 83. I was 7.
My full name is Christopher Sharp Binnings and my parents are William Sharp and Cynthia Lemmon Binnings. Cheers!
