Hi Chuck
I have a copy of 1841 England census that lists George Binning b. 1801, Charlotte b. 1806, John b. 1827, and William b. 1829. They are living in Shipman, Somerset.
The records misspell the last name Beining, but in the census itself it is clearly Binning.
I thik this may be your George.
Jerry

Jerry : That could be correct, I found his son William's Marr. last night in 4/4 of 1853 Axbridge to Phillis Eliabeth TAYLOR B.c. 1833 in Stapleton, Somerset as I had figured about 1857 for their Marriage. There dates of birth were based on 1881 & 91 Census that I could check, the other Census I dont have access to such as 1841 or 51 or 61. 1861 might tie them all together. Thanks for your Help CHUCK

Yes George Binning & wife Charlotte Hares that I once thought was (Hanes) born 1801 & 1806, If I had your E-mail it would be better, mine is chuck.binning@sympatico.ca
Yes I know of that mis-spelling Beining & of John & William
of 1827 & 1829, I have the binning line up to the present & some in the 1800's, & Charlotte's line back to 1707 & also forward to present. The Binnings I only have to George of 1801. CHUCK

Hi George. If you're researching Binning(s) ancestry, I believe Goerge & Ann Binning to be the parents of Charles P. Binnings (the "s" becomes added) who immigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana sometime in the 1840's. Charles was a riverboat captain. His son, Clement Plato ran DeLignes Plantation (5,000 acres) and died in a sugarmill when my great grandfather, Earl Sharp Binnings was 12 yrs. old. Earl S. Binnings owned a steamship agency and retired to his weekend home, Sunnyside Plantation in Thibodaux, LA. He died in his bed in 1977 at the age of 83. I was 7.
My full name is Christopher Sharp Binnings and my parents are William Sharp and Cynthia Lemmon Binnings. Cheers!
