Heinrich Blasi, Bayern, Germany

My great grandfather, Martin Blasi, immigrated to the US 9 Mar 1888. He was born April 31, 1860 in Trippstadt, Bayern, Germany. From FamilySearch.org I discovered his parents were Susanna Pflager (Pfleger) and Heinrich Blasi. The christening notice for Martin says that his mother was 20 years old. An age for Heinrich (father) was not listed. I also found a burial notice in the same town for a Heinrich Blasi 16 April 1860. If this is true, he died a couple of weeks before his son was born. Does anyone else have information about this family?

Hi Karen,
My sister and I have been working on our family tree for about 13 years or so, we follow all the branches as far as we can go. Recently she asked me to look for info on Anthony Frank Forgilli's family. Anthony, or Uncle Tony as my mom calls him, since he married my mom's aunt. Tony's last name was changed by the nuns at the catholic school, so I heard, and his brother's last name was changed to Forgille, by the school also. All the girls last names are spelled Forgiuele, but they all married and their last names have changed. I didn't have much info on them, so am looking for info to put into our family tree. I normally do all the researching on the computer, while my sister Linda, writes to everyone, e-mails them, and gets copies of Death and Social Security Applications. We don't give out any info to anyone, we just enjoy doing the family tree. We recently came across another branch of our Grenier Line, I found more information for Myrtle in 2-3 days, than she had found in 2-3 years. My mom is a Grenier. I like to help out anyway I can, and would love to swap info with you. I think my sister has some more info on the Furgiuele's, am I am waiting for her to send it to me. Well, let me know. Thanks,
Yvette

(Those are all the Blasi) His Gramma's maiden name was Notto. Her Mom's maiden name was Sarafina Notto. Now, Gramma's CORRECT SPELLING of her married name was Furgiuele. The uncles, her kids, spelled the last name 2 different ways. Well, let me know if this helps or if it sounds familiar. Thanx tons, Karen

Hopefully somehow we are related. Mike (my husband) said that there were probably tons of 'Blasi' that came from Italy. His family came from either Calabria or shoot, I can't remember, somewhere close to that area. Sorry about your loss too. Let me know what you find out.... got my fingers crossed!
In the event this is your Father.....I mean, we are talking about the right Dominic.......he's my husband's Uncle. And we are related. I just asked him again.....Mike, my husband and he said Uncle Dominic DID have a daughter, Connie Sue, is what they called her. I'm not sure if I ever met you, Mike and I have been married for over 26 years, it will be 27, actually soon. I started looking for both our families....since my Mother in Law passed. Sorry it took me so long to respond, I work long hours. We'd love to know any other family.......ones still in Europe. If this is the right person, Mike says, hi! Sweet days and love, Mike and Karen

Harold Blasi NJ

I am trying to locate the descendents of my grandfather Harold Blasi who was born (1914) and lived in Newark, NJ. He married my grandmother Phylene Cozzone Blasi in 1941, they had my mother Phylene Blasi Farrell in 1943. Harold died in WWII in 1944.
His father and mother were Frank and Jemma Blasi. He had three siblings (who have all passed away), Harry, Walter, and Antoinette. Antoinette married and had three boys, Walter, Anthony and Joseph Calivito. Harry had two children, Robert and Gary Blasi. Walter had two girls, Linda and Donna.
Please touch base with me if you think you may have any information about this family.
Thanks.
Stacey

Hi Karen,
I'm looking for info on a Nocenza Blasi. I believe it should be Inocenza Blasi. She was born 1893 in Italy and married an Antonio Furgiuele. Thay came to the United States and settled in Chicago, where they had 7 children. If you think this is or could be the same person, please let me know. I would love to swap info. Thanks,
Yvette

Are you out of your mind? Who do you think would be interested in my family. For your information dad was never your grandfather, he was your adopted father. If you ever loved mom or appreciated anything and all she did for you, you would stop this nonsense.

Hi,
I have an ancestor from Castelvetrano, Sicily, with the Blasi surname. I have copies of the birth records of her 10 children, and her name is sometimes stated Brigida Blasi, sometimes Brigida di Blasi, sometimes Brigida intesa di Blasi, and also Brigida di Giovanni [Incerto?] intesa di Blasi. Can anyone help me discover what this means? Is Blasi a city or a person? What does "intesa" mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Tom
