Hi Sarah - I'm afraid I can't tell you any more about Isaac's family beyond my last email. And we are in fact nearly but not quite related, since John married my gggrandma severl years AFTER my forebear was born. There is of course an outside chance that the unknown father was in fact John, but I have no evidence either way on that.
All the best
Simon

Regarding Albertine. I have now successfully found living members of Albertine's family and the scroll has been handed over and is now resting with them. I had a great time research Albertine's history and found much about him. He was a very brave man as were all of the poor souls who found themselves in WW1.

Hello,
We are Boars with Essex and East London connection but do not know any of the names you gave. We have a mystery ourselves. We attend the family grave in Romford once a year and each year find new flowers have been left. As far as we know there are no other decendants, very puzzling.
I wish you well in your endeavour to find the some who would want you momento.
Regards,
Linda.

BOAR/BOORE family

My G. Grandfather, Amos BOAR, was two years old when he came to America with his parents and siblings. Siblings were
John T. BOAR, Will Boar, Selena BOAR and Martha BOAR. His parents are believed to have been William S. BOAR and Elizabeth BOAR. The year was about 1855. Sometime before 1889, the spelling of the name was changed to BOORE. The family emigrated from Luton, England.

Boar connections to Eastham Essex

I am searching for people with connections with the Boar family from in and around Eastham, and with connections to Suffolk.
I have a scroll that came into my family from a house clearance in 1970/80s in Eastham, that I would like to hand back. It tells of the death of an Albertine T Boar, who died in 1916 in France during the 1st world war. He had a brother William also his father name and a sister Ellen. Albertine was born in the late 1800s in Suffolk. Any one with information please email me, thanks.

hello ! I'm writing you from sunny California. I recently purchased a beautiful Armoire from an antique store in the area. On the front the name Ana and Janas Boar are painted. Also, Anos 1865. It is painted with tulips and what looks like soldiers on horses. Possibly representing the Boar war. Looks sort of Dutch. Would Ana and Janas possibly be in your faminly line?? My email is S3moen@aol.com

Hello !! I live here in sunny California. The reason for this letter is --
I bought a beautiful old armoire at an antique store near my house and could tell it was very old. On the front of it is painted the names "Anna and Janas Boar,1865" it also has pictures painted on it of tulips and what looks like a soldier. I looks very Dutch. I'm so curious to know about Anna and Janas and the history behind this beautiful armoire. I have done exhaustive searches for information an them and have gotten nothing. Is there anyone who could possibly help me?? I would be soooo grateful!! Thanks-- Shelley

To correct my earlier message: Minnie S. Boar and Minna/Minnie Maxwell would be sister-in-laws. William Maxwell had a younger sister named Minna/Minnie b. 1860.
Sorry about the confusion.
