I have their Bible. It was passed down to my grt.grandmother, ALBERTI O'HARA LEWIS. She was a favored granddaughter of ESTHER RAYMOND KELLY. Her mother shared that same name and was married to James Henry O'Hara.
JOHN KELLY was born 11 June 1790 in DE, according to the Bible. He was the son of NEIL KELLY, who was born ca1765 in Ireland. His mother was MAGDALENE MC CAFFERTY, who was born 17 Feb 1769, in DE. They would have married ca 1789, DE I would suppose.JOHN KELLY died on 8 June 1848 in Chester,Dela Co,PA. ESTHER lived until 21 May 1881, where she died in the home of my 2nd grt.grandparents, James H. & Esther R. O'Hara, Chester,PA. I also inherited a "copy book" in which my Grt.grandmother wrote what ERK had told her about exactly what she and John wore on their wedding day. She also included places in Philadelphia she had lived. Her father was a Rev. vet., NATHAN RAYMOND, of MA. He was married twice: Mary Grant, my ancestress, and secondly, to Mary Eaton. The RAYMOND connection is well documented back to WILLIAM RAYMOND who emigrated to MA about 1650 with his brother, JOHN. That line is filled with several of MA's founders.
Thanks so very much for the information on the WOOLSON name, etc. I recall my mother mentioning a WOOLSON connection. My mother was JANET RAYMOND POWELL (AVERETT), born in Chester, PA. She married my father, a Virginian, after he graduated from Crozer Seminary and they moved to NC.
I do so wish I had more information on NEIL KELLY & MAGDALENE MC CAFFERTY (KELLY). MAGDALENE'S parents are reported to have been EDWARD MC CAFFERTY, born in Scotland, and MAGADELENE PETERSON, born in DE.
Please reply to me at OSSON97@AOL.COM, as my Ancestry use is through the library where I am employed.

I would love to know where the Bible is and if there is any information on John Kelly beyond that he was married to Esther and they started the first Methodist Church in Chester, PA. There daughter Mary Elizabeth Kelly (married to John L. Woolson) was called Mary Etta in those day s Etta was a nickname for Elizabeth but she used it on census documents. Her daughter Mary Elizabeth Woolson (m. William H. Boileau) was my mother's grandmom. My Mother was Mary Elizabeth Boileau (m. to James Kyle. Then we come to me Elizabeth Anne Mary Kyle (m. John Campbell) The Anne sneaked in to honor my dad's mom who passed away while he was in Europe during World war II. I never met her and that is one of the reasons I wanted to study the family tree. After the age of seven my grandparents were all gone. I do remember my grandfather telling me about his grandfather John L. Woolson who was in the Grand Army of the Republic. It wasn't until years later I realized that the GRA was a veterans group for the Civil War vets. I spent a lot of time livin gin the same house with my grandfather before he died and he must have told me that over and over and the fact that the Boileau family were Hugonauts from france long long ago before America was America. My ancestry tree is the kyle Boileau Woolson tree. I did discover that Woolson was Swedish in origin and part of New Jersey History when land grants were given to the Swedish settlers when William Penn found them here because they were good farmers and he wanted to keep them here. Any information about the Bible would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Heidi Hansen, live in Wisconsin, and am a g-----> grand daughter of Rene Boileau, Sieur du la Goupilliere and Joachine Serrant. Their daughter, Marie, was a King's Daughter in New France, and I am a descendant of Jean and Marie Jolin. I have read they Boileaus were Nobility. Do you have information on them? I would sincerely be interested in finding out if we are related.

Hope to hear...

HEidi

Believe that Edward Boileau from Southampton may be related to my husband's family. Edward's had a daughter Mary Ann aged 12 in the 1850 census. We have a Mary A Boileau of this age married to Thomas Brooks of Warminster Bucks Co Pennsylvania. They are married with children
Sarah Brooks	8
Samuel Brooks	6
William Brooks	3
Robert Brooks 4
We believe that this Samuel Brooks is my husband's great grandfather Samuel Boileau Brooks who married Elizabeth Mae Lockard of Cheltenham and had 3 children Jesse Ed, William Nelson and Charles Raymond.
Wonder if any of this fits in with any information you may have. Would love to fill in holes in my husband's family as his father, born in 1906 was orphaned in 1911

I am at a dead end. George J or P Boileau was my grandfather. He immigrated about 1900. He married Ella Julia Barna and they lived in Itasca and Cass Counties of Minnesota. He died in the 1930s of heart disease. I believe he was born in Quebec. His father may have moved to Kenora later on and remarried. If any one can help I would greatly appreciate it. He also had a nephew that lived in Minneapolis. He went by Bud Boileau.
