Bonnecaze Family of Louisiana

I am a descendent of Alexis Bonnecaze and Augusta Baquie (1st generation), Leonce Hippolyte Bonnecaze and Odile Charlotte de Coppens (2nd generation), Leonce Francois Bonnecaze and Marie Lillian Meral (3rd generation), Henry Denechaud Lancaster and Elizabeth Anne Bonnecaze (4th generation), Anthony Frederick Whitford and Elizabeth Louise Lancaster (5th generation).

All of the aforementioned Bonnecaze family members resided in New Orleans, Louisiana and were pillars of society. Immersed in politics, the arts, Mardi Gras, the Catholic Church, law, and many other fields of interest, they were educated at Ursuline Academy, St. Aloyisius, Steven's College, Fairfax Hall, Newcomb College, Tulane, Loyola, Jesuit, and LSU.

Any and all information, connections, and photographs would be of interest to me.

looking for william bonnie, he married my aunt ethyl hackney in the early 1940s or late 1930s they lived in ark not sure how they spelled bonnie. thank you joan

I can tell you that Mathieu Hubou and Suzanne Betfer married on September 28, 1649, in Notre-Dame Church in Québec City. From their marriage contract we know she was a widow from Jean Serne, a merchant. She was from Gloucester. I would like very much to know her birth date too! If you have any other info...

Searching for any family information on great grandmother's family. I know she had at least one child, Suzanne, who married Mathieu Hubou (Hubout). I believe she lived in England at the time of her marriage.

I am looking for relatives of Elisabeth Bonne D'Hont, of Ruysselede Belgium. She married Gustave D'Hont of Iseghem, Belgium around 1905. They had three children, at least: Emmerence, Achiel and Marie Naessens. If you know these names, please contact me.

Bonyea/Bonne ??

My gr gr grandmother was Melvina M. Bonyea b.1873 her fathers name is Isadore Bonyea he was born in Canada I have no name for her mother.

Does anyone have any info on these people?

Melvina married Frank J. Loyzell (loiselle) and lived in Fitchburg, Ma.

I cannot find any Bonyea so I think the name is mispelled.

Hi- Suzanne Betfer was my 9th great grandmother- i believe she was born in 1634- i have her parents as Gilbert Betfer and Anne Bonne, i have the same 2 spouses listed as you mentioned. I have Mattieu Hobou as Suzanne's spouce and a daughter Anne Hobou who married Rene Savageau, and so on..........
